landscape architect registered with Ilam or
an appropriate/ accredited organization,
containing: Name of project (as in the D.O. title)
Size of the project area (to state in the
official letter)
Self maintenance/to be surrendered to
DBKL
ii. Copy of the development order (D.O) from
the Department of Town Planning, City Hall
Kuala Lumpur.
iii. Any new application for amendment of
landscape involving D.O amendment/
renewal shall be accompanied with a D.O.
plan and the new D.O.

development site and surrounding areas
especially on main road shoulders.

COMPLIANCE NOTES
Width of the exit doors shall be 550mm wide. Any additional
300mm to the full width shall be calculated as half the width
and no exit doors shall be less than 700mm as stated in the
Uniform Building Bye Laws Federal Territory Kuala Lumpur 1985
(UUKBWPKL) Section 181.
Confirmation on the width based on capacity shall be based on
Table seven.
The construction of protected spaces shall comply with sections
150, 151, 152, Uniform Building Bye-Laws federal territory Kuala
Lumpur 1985
A smoke lobby shall be provided to comply with section 196,
Uniform Building Bye-Laws federal territory Kuala Lumpur 1985
Buildings exceeding 7000m2 shall border with a road or an
open space that is no less than 12m in width and can be
accessed by a fire engine. The ratio of the building bordering
the road or open space shall comply with the following scale:
Balance on the pedestrian route from the public transport
stop to the building and from the building exit to the diabled
facility :
7000 m3 - 28000 m3 is one sixth
28001 m3 - 56000 m3 is one quarter
56001 m3 - 84000 m3 is half

The Earthworks plan to be undertaken within the development
plot shall be the same as in the approved Development Order.
A cross section plan to show the reduce level together with
retaining wall (if relevant) between adjoining lots.
The cut/ fill volume shall be shown on the plan to determine the
load transfer and calculation for the earthworks fee
The Earthworks Plan shall be accompanied with the detailed
plan on the Silt Control System. A copy of the specification and
hydraulic calculations shall be submitted together.
The Earthworks plan shall be accompanied with the detail plan
