Biography Siti Nurhaliza

Siti Nurhaliza is the most successful and a talented Malaysian celebrity that I like the
most. She is a country girl that mesmerizes the entire country with her golden voice. Siti is the
most respective artist in the Malaysian music industry that still amazes her audience till now. Siti
Nurhaliza full name was Siti Nurhaliza binti Taruddin. Siti was educated at the Clifford Primary
School, Kuala Lipis and pursue her study at secondary school till form five at Clifford High
School, Kuala Lipis. This essay is about the life of an idol that inspires me.
Siti Nurhaliza was born at police barracks in Kg. Awah, Temerloh, Pahang on 11 January
1979. Her father name is Tarudin bin Ismail while her mother name is Siti Salmah Bachik. Sitis
father works as a policeman at the police station while his mother works as a housewife. Siti
Nurhaliza has eight siblings and she is the fifth. Sitis mother was a traditional local musician
while her grandfather was a violinist. She starts karaoke at home then her family supports her to
sing at wedding ceremony with Family Group, a band that was owned by her family.
Siti won many singing competition before she finally signed a contract with a local
company which is Suria Record Company (SRC). Before she signed a contract with SRC she
win her first national singing competition, Bintang HMI 1995 and there she met Adnan Abu
Hassan a director of SRC. As a new singer she had to face many obstacles such as balancing her
life between career and education. She also doesnt want to take a picture with any male as she
wants to avoid controversy. This personality was a good example for the teenagers nowadays.

As Siti began to capture people attention, she began to receive a lot of criticism from the
critic. They critics about her lack of style when she was at any awards or concerts. Siti was from
the country side so she doesnt know how to wear something that up to date. Knowing her own
lack of style drew negative comments from the critics, she began initiative to improve her image.
After a while she finally knows how to dress up and fascinate everyone eyes.
As for conclusion, I admired her because she had face so much hardship but she manages
to overcome each obstacle well. She was Malaysian jewels that beloved by all her fans. Although
she was an urban artist she still kept the Malay culture in her and always kept her family first
before her career. She was one of the legend that still live right now and a good role model for
teenagers nowadays.
