the product with the new design.

Additional information
Delivery Time and

Checking the CPU Capacity

Each function block engaged in the functional configuration reserves a

for the RET 541/543/545

portion of the CPU capacity of the transformer terminal. In order to ensure

Transformer Terminals

proper terminal performance, it is important that the CPU capacity is

checked before giving a customer a commitment for the selected functionality. Pay attention to the required number of stages for each function
and the system frequency (50 or 60 Hz).
An Excel template for CPU load checking is available in the Lotus Notes
database Competitive Edge, Engineering Information. When the functional configuration is downloaded to the RET 54_ transformer terminal,
the device also automatically checks the system resources and informs of
possible violations of the CPU capacity limit.

Additional Information

The available product-related user manuals and documents are listed in

Appendix III.
The Sales brochure and Technical overview brochure (TOB) are available
to help promoting and quoting this product. The material is available on
the Internet at http://www.abb.com/substationautomation.
