DR-60DMKII Linear PCM Recorder.
Before connecting and using this unit, please take
time to read this manual thoroughly to ensure you
understand how to properly set it up and connect
it, as well as the operation of its many useful and
convenient functions. After you have finished
reading this manual, please keep it in a safe place for
future reference.
This Owner's Manual explains the main functions
of this unit. Please see the Reference Manual for
information about all the unit's functions.

Beware of condensation
If the unit is moved from a cold to a warm place,
or used after a sudden temperature change, there
is a danger of condensation; vapor in the air could
condense on the internal mechanism, making
correct operation impossible. To prevent this, or if
this occurs, let the unit sit for one or two hours at the
new room temperature before using it.

Preparation
When the unit is started up for the first time (or when

Troubleshooting
If you are having trouble with the operation of this unit, please try the following
before seeking repair. If these measures do not solve the problem, please contact
the store where you bought the unit or TEAC customer support.
When using USB bus power, confirm that the USB cable is securely connected.
When using USB bus power, confirm that it is not connected via a USB hub.
Confirm that the HOLD switch is not set in the direction of the arrow.
88The unit turns off automatically.
Is the automatic power saving function on? See "Setting the automatic power
saving function" in "10 Settings and Information" of the Reference Manual.
Since this unit complies with the European Standby Power Regulations (ErP),
the automatic power saving function operates regardless of whether the unit
is being powered by an AC adapter or batteries. If you do not want to use the
automatic power saving function, set it to "OFF". (The factory default setting is
"30min".)

l'emplacement et l'emploi
La plage de temprature de fonctionnement de
cette unit est de 0-40C.
Attention la condensation
Si l'unit est dplace dun endroit froid un endroit
chaud, ou utilise aprs un changement soudain de
temprature, il existe un risque de condensation; la
vapeur de l'air peut se condenser sur le mcanisme
interne, empchant le bon fonctionnement. Pour
empcher cela ou si cela se produit, laissez lunit
une ou deux heures la temprature de la nouvelle
pice avant de l'utiliser.
Nettoyage de l'unit
Essuyez l'unit avec un chiffon sec et doux pour
la nettoyer. Ne l'essuyez pas avec des lingettes de
nettoyage contenant des produits chimiques, du
diluant, de l'alcool ou d'autres agents chimiques.
Cela pourrait endommager la surface ou causer une
dcoloration.

Dieses Gert wurde auf die Einhaltung der Grenzwerte gem der
EMV-Richtlinie 2004/108/EG der Europischen Gemeinschaft hin geprft.
Diese Grenzwerte stellen einen angemessenen Schutz gegen schdliche

auf verschiedene Systemeinstellungen. Daneben
knnen Sie auf dieser Seite Einstellungen zurcksetzen und eine die Speicherkarte formatieren.
1. Whlen Sie MENU w OTHERS w SYSTEM,
und drcken Sie die Wiedergabetaste 7.
2. Nehmen Sie die gewnschten Einstellungen
vor.
whlen Sie REC SETTING und anschlieend den Eintrag PRE REC.

File Not Found Eine Datei kann nicht gefunden werden oder ist mglicherweise beschdigt. berprfen Sie die Datei mithilfe eines
Computers.
File Not Found Keine Systemdatei vorhanden. Zum ordnungsgemen
Make Sys File
Betrieb bentigt der Recorder eine Systemdatei. Um eine
neue Systemdatei zu erstellen, drcken Sie auf das Rad,
wenn diese Meldung erscheint.
File Protected Die Datei ist schreibgeschtzt und kann nicht gelscht
werden.
Format Error
Die Karte ist mglicherweise nicht ordnungsgem formaFormat CARD tiert oder beschdigt. Diese Meldung erscheint ebenfalls,
wenn Sie die Karte nicht mit dem Recorder, sondern mit
einem Computer formatiert haben, oder wenn Sie eine
nicht formatierte Karte einlegen.
Karten, die Sie in diesem Recorder verwenden wollen,
mssen immer mit einem DR-60DMKII formatiert werden.
Tauschen Sie die Karte aus, oder drcken Sie auf das Rad,
wenn diese Meldung erscheint, um die Karte zu formatieren.
WICHTIG: Durch das Formatieren werden smtliche
Daten auf der Karte unwiderruflich gelscht.
Invalid Card
Es ist ein unbekanntes Problem mit der SD-Karte aufgeChange Card
treten. Tauschen Sie die Karte aus.
Invalid SysFile Die fr den Betrieb des Recorders bentigte Systemdatei
Make Sys File
ist ungltig. Um eine neue Systemdatei zu erstellen,
drcken Sie auf das Rad, wenn diese Meldung erscheint.
Layer too
Die maximale Verzeichnistiefe betrgt zwei Ordner. Im
Deep
aktuellen Ordner kann kein weiterer Ordner erstellt
werden.
Max File Size
Die Datei bersteigt die Maximalgre.
MBR Error Init

Non-Supported Die Audiodatei weist ein nicht untersttztes Format auf.

Write Timeout Beim Schreiben auf die SD-Karte ist eine Zeitberschreitung aufgetreten.
Sichern Sie die auf der Karte gespeicherten Dateien auf

dieses Recorders neu.
Falls eine andere Meldung erscheint, schalten Sie den Recorder aus und starten
ihn neu.
Fehlerbehebung
Sollten Sie bei der Benutzung dieses Recorders auf Schwierigkeiten stoen,
probieren Sie bitte zunchst die folgenden Lsungsvorschlge aus, bevor Sie ihn
zur Reparatur einliefern. Wenn Sie das Problem damit nicht beheben konnten,
wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Fachhndler oder an ein Tascam-Servicecenter.
