The License Plate Game

Would You Rather?

Youre not the only one out on the road! Look

at license plates to see where other cars on the
road come from and make a list of all the ones
you see. The person who finds the state that is
farthest away wins!

The boy in ARE WE THERE YET? imagines

himself in all kinds of crazy scenarios. A road trip
is the perfect time to get lost in your imagination.
Ask one another silly questions about different
situations. Questions like

Boredom Busting Storytime

Would you rather race a rumbling train on

a horse or joust with a knight in a medieval
tournament?

Pick another car on the road and make up a

story about its passengers. Where do they come
from? Where are they headed? How do they
know one another? If they could come from
another era in history, which one would it be?
What would they drive? How would they dress?

Im Going to Grandmas
This is a fun and simple ABC game that can be
played with any number of players. The first
player says, Im going to grandmas and Im
bringing... followed by something that begins
with A, like apples. The second player repeats
what the first person said, but adds something
that begins with B. So she might say, Im going
to grandmas and Im bringing apples and
bubblegum. And so on with C, D, and the rest
of the alphabet. If someone forgets an item, he or
she is out. The last player who can recall all the
items on the list wins!

Would you rather ride a camel around the

Sphinx or swing on the ropes of a pirate ship?
Would you rather live in the past and hang out
with a mastodon or in the future where a robot
is your friend?
Would you rather fly a kite with Ben Franklin
or high five a caveman?
Would you rather have a toy monkey that
becomes real or play fetch with a dinosaur?
