INTRODUCTIONA law court is a civic structure which administers justice according to the
laws. Each high court is a court of record exercising original and appellate
jurisdiction within its respective state or territory. As part of the judicial
system, the high courts are institutionally independent of state
legislatures and executives. The high court supervises all courts within its
jurisdiction, except for those dealing with the armed forces, and may
transfer constitutional cases to itself from subordinate courts.
The court buildings are one of the landmark in the city and are built on a
monumental scale. Their physical representation decides the connectivity
and relation between the people and government. The good user friendly
design of a court brings the feeling of admiration and sense of justice
among the people. There are generally five categories of users in a law
court building

ConceptThe high court is a building of dignity and admiration. It should always

present the sense of faith and wisdom among the people.
The concept for this high court would enhance the dignity and faith in the
building. The design will be massive , high roof and spacious but simple
and modern. This will show the royalty and vastness of government
building . The design will be climate responsive for the comfort of the
users.
As the law courts give both the feelings of happiness and sadness to the
public , the design will focus on spreading positivity in all the areas.
The public spaces and official spaces will be segregated in a way for
example through bridge or a common landscape space. The planning will
be functionality and connectivity based as there should be proper
segregation of public, jury and detainees circulation areas.
Various other facilities will be provided for the convenience of the public
so they don't have to run on every corner of the city for every little work.
The aspects which will be focused while designing will be

Security
Facilities
Circulation
Functionality
Form and mass
