DepEd Order No. 41, s. 2015, also known as Secondary High School
Career Guidance Program and Early Registration, states that in preparation for
the full implementation of SHS S.Y. 2016-2017 it is imperative that Senior High School
entrants make informed decisions regarding their choice of track and promote
awareness in the importance of choosing a track that suits their skills and interest and
matches the available resources and needs of the society. Also, during the culmination
activity of the Career Guidance Program, it is necessary to ensure that all SHS Entrants
are registered in the SHS program for S.Y. 2016-2017.
To respond to such mandate, the Office of the Guidance Services will conduct a
series of Career Guidance Initiatives for Grade 10 students starting November
3-5, 2015 at EVSU Secondary Laboratory School AV Room, aimed towards selfawareness and informed Career Decision-Making bridging the delivery system of the K12 Curriculum. The office will be using the Career Guidance Manual and course
blueprint issued by the Department of Education last August 26, 2015.
In connection, we would like to eagerly solicit your approval on the abovementioned event. Attached are the consecutive schedules and program of
activities. The three (3) Guidance Counselors with the aide of the Peer Counselors will
enthusiastically deliver the objectives and vision of the Career Guidance Initiatives and
Enrichment activities.
