Behnisch Architekten
125 Kingston Street
Boston, MA 02111

Dear Mr. Noblett:

Please accept this letter and resume in application for an internship position at Behnisch Architekten.

After graduating from Roger Williams University lin 2007 with my Bachelor of Architecture, I have worked at
two different architecture firms, most recently Perry Dean Rogers/Partners which of course is how I know Rick Jones.
Both office experiences have provided me with unique design opportunites that range in scale as well as design
phases, from programming exercises that influenced building geometries to millwork design of circulation desks and
display cases. While at Perry Dean Rogers/Partners, in my constant efforts to challenge myself and continue to learn
everything that I can, I decided to broaden my approach to design by becoming LEED certified. By doing so, I could
responsibly respond to the unique sustainable demands of the two LEED certified projects that I worked on at PDRP.
My experiences at both offices also allowed me the chance to work closely with clients as well and various consultants
which certianlty has given me confidence in the design decisions that I now make. I believe that Behnisch Architekten
will provide me with a parralleled experience allowing me to once again further my education in the field by working
on challenging projects with a similar line of thinking. As I continue my post-collegiate life on the road to becoming
an architect, I would greatly enjoy working with your firm.
As my curriculum vitae shows, I have experience working on both large and small scale projects and have ex-
tensive training in the production of drawing sets in all phases of design using the computer, as well as by hand. As I
look forward to my next office experience, I am extremely passionate about continuing to learn everything I can about
architecture and sustainable design, and believe that your firm is an excellent continuance for that objective.
I believe I can be an invaluable asset to you, as I am highly motivated, possess a strong work ethic, and work
well in teams.
I am very excited for this opportunity and hope to set up a personal interview to explore the possibility of my
employment at Behnisch Architekten. I look forward to meeting with you!

Sincerely,

Michael T. Cimorelli
