Criterion for the Assessment of each Course Outcomes (CO)

Internal Assessment
The following attainment levels were set for measuring Course Outcomes attained through
Internal Assessment
1. Attainment Level 3: 60% -70% students scoring more than 40% marks out of 30 maximum
marks
2. Attainment Level 2: 50%-59% students scoring more than 40% marks out of 30 maximum
marks
3. Attainment Level 1: <50% students scoring more than 40% marks out of 30 maximum marks
University Examinations
The following attainment levels were set for measuring Course Outcomes attained through
University Examinations
1. Attainment Level 3: 60%-70% students scoring Grade C or better than Grade C in University
examination.
2. Attainment Level 2: 50%-59% students scoring Grade C or better than Grade C in University
examination.
3. Attainment Level 1: <50% students scoring Grade C or better than Grade C in University
examination.

Overall Attainment level of Course Outcome is calculated as 70% of A+30% of B

where A

= course outcome attainment level achieved through university

examinations

= course outcome attainment level achieved through internal assessment

Attainment Level achieved for internal marks 30:

Total no of students =71
Total no of students crossing internal marks 12 out of 30=71
% percentage obtained= ( 71/71)*100=100
Total attainment achieved =3
Attainment Level achieved for external marks 70:
Total no of students =71
Total no of students crossing grade C and above=
% percentage obtained= ( 45/71)*100=64%
Total attainment achieved =3
