Electrical Services.
Due to Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, and further to shortage of Engineering
manpower after Liberation, Bonyan Design management saw the need
for expanding its territory abroad for project follow up and
coordination. And since Bonyan Design required from time to time to
associate with International Specialist Consultant to provide high
standards of excellence in Design, the office services are upgraded not
only for project follow up but also for technical involvement in
coordination with the Design team in Kuwait office.
In June 1996, Bonyan Design (Kuwait) proudly opened their
International
Offices
in
London,
BONYAN

INTERNATIONAL. Bonyan Design offices are located in the
prestigous area of Surrey overlooking the River Thames.

The Design of the mosque is a distinction of mix between the Modern and
Classic style with huge classic arches in entrance and color stone for the
faade cladding with high elevation and the GRC Decorative Mashrabia which
surround the front elevation. It achieved with the natural stone cladding a huge
distinction mass, and we can see behind this mashrabia a big curtain wall with
Islamic motives which emerge the modern and development style from outside
and big amount of natural light inside the main prayer hall.
The interior design for this mosque has an extended wall with marble cladding
which has a harmony and soft color with particular Islamic motives in certain
areas that is which gives us inside a serenity spiritualistic feeling.

NEW UNITED NATION HOUSE

Ministry of Foreign Affair - Diplomat Area,
West Mishraf.
The United
Nation
House
building
project
was
a
commissioned
by
the
Ministry
of
Foreign
Affairs
Kuwait as
the client to
build
a
Regional
Office that will
accommodate
major
UN
organizations
and to be the
symbol of that
main
organization
in the region.
Its a gift of
goodwill from
the
Kuwaiti
Government to
the UN for its
role
in
the
liberation of
Kuwait.
In
order for the
initial concept
of
the
UN
house
to

evolve
the
Designer used
metaphorical
elements
of
the
liberation
of
Kuwait
war,
hope
and
peace
to
theoretically
build
his
concept. The
massing of the
building started
with
2
masses,
the
kayos of war
and the simple
circular
building of
piece
linked
by the hall of
hope
were
one can see
piece
through .
The
Building
has Basement,
Ground,
First
and
Second
floors.
The Basement
is utilized for
Private
car
parking for the
use
of
employees with
few
storage
and mechanical
rooms and an

electrical
substation. On
the
Ground
floor
the
highlighted
feature of the
Building is the
main entrance
and
spaces
allocated
for
main
hall
followed
by
First
and
Second floors
consisting
of
top-level
facilities
for
training,
VIP
rooms, library,
offices
and
common
facilities
suitable for this
Project with a
total built up
area of 9,975 sq
m.

This is a highly specialized

research and training center,
developed on approx. 36,000 Sq.m
at Sulabiya.
In addition to the research and
analytical laboratories the center
provides for education, training
and extension, with facilities such
as training laboratories, seminar
rooms, lecture hall, etc.
The overall project provides a
complex

could
be
considered as a center of
regional excellence encouraging
co-operation and joint projects
with neighboring states for mutual
