How to Use the vToken

A. vToken Installation (Initial use of the vToken)

Instructions
Step 1. Insert the vToken USB/flash disk to the USP port.

Step 2. Open the USB drive where your vToken USB application is located.
(Ex.: My Computer >E:)

Step 3. Double click Run.bat to run the application.

3.1 Install the LibUSB-Win32 which will automatically pop-up on the screen.
3.2 Just follow the instructions provided until installation process is finished.
3.3 For Welcome to the LibUSB Win32 setup wizard screen, click Next.

3.4 For License Agreement screen, click the I accept the agreement.
3.5 Click Next.

3.6 For Select Destination Location screen, click Next.

3.7 For Select Start Menu Folder screen, click Next.

3.8 For Ready to Install screen click Install.

3.9 Wait until the Installation process finished.

3.10 For Completing the LibUSB Win32 setup wizard screen, click Finish.

3.11 For TestLibUsb Windows Version screen, click Exit.

3.12 Upon successful installation, press any key to continue.

3.13 Remove/Disconnect the USB from the USB Port.

B. Log-in Procedure
Step 1. Insert the vToken
USB application

Step 2. Open the USB drive where your vToken USB application is located.
(Ex. My Computer > E:)

Step 3. Double click Run.bat to run the application.

Step 4. Loading the vToken client application screen, please wait until the Graphical
keyboard showed up.
Note: Do not close this window.

Step 5. In the graphical keyboard, input your nominated 8-character vToken ID using the
mouse, then click Login.

Step 6. From the weAccess log-in page, input the challenge code to the Challenge
field of the vToken Pin pad using the mouse.

Step 7. Click Generate Response button.

Step 8. Once the Response Code is generated, highlight then Copy (Ctrl + C) the
Response Code from the vToken Pin Pad to the log-in page.

Step 9. Click Submit

You will then be directed to the weAccess Welcome Page screen and will be ready to
view and/or transact selected banking transactions through the weAccess

C. Transaction Authorization Process

(for AUTHORIZERs USE ONLY)
Once logged-in, an authorizer who clicked a transaction with To be Authorized status
will be asked to input a new response code (applicable to Auto Crediting, ATM Payroll
and Checkwriting Request modules only)

Step 1. Input the Challenge Code from the transaction details screen to the
Challenge field of the vToken Pin pad using the mouse.

Step 2. Once the Response Code is generated, highlight it then Copy (Ctrl + C) the
Response Code from the vToken Pin Pad to the Response Code field of the
Transaction Details screen.

Step 3. Click Approve.

Transaction Acknowledgment screen will appear as proof that the transaction has been
authorized.
