Background of the company

TGV Cinemas (formerly known as Tanjong Golden Village) is the second largest cinema chain
in Malaysia. As of March 2015, TGV Cinemas has 32 multiplexes with 235 screens and more
than 45,000 seats.] TGV Cinemas is headquartered at Maxis Tower, Kuala LumpurTGV Cinemas
a wholly owned subsidiary of Tanjong Public Limited Company.
Since inception in 1995, TGV Cinemas has grown to become one of Malaysias premier film
exhibition companies and established its name as a pioneer of cinema industry and owner of
premier multiplexes in Malaysia.
We strive to improve every day to ensure our customers
have the best time and leave with fond memories only to return for more exciting cinematic
experience. We have a dedicated team behind these screens who are committed to make you
smile! We refurbished some of our flagship locations to give it a fresh look, mainly to adopt a
more welcoming, vibrant, contemporary ambiance. Some of the cinema halls were redesigned
and renovated to maximise the space.
Aside from the facelift, TGV Cinemas is 100% digital. Cinema-goers can enjoy unmatched
brightness, sharpness and superior images in high definition contents such as films,

One of the type of cinema launched was their first IMAX hall in TGV Sunway Pyramid on 15
December 2011. It is also the only IMAX hall in the country after the ceased operation IMAX
hall located in Berjaya Times Square, where the original location has been replaced
by GSC MAXX. The first movie shown in the IMAX hall isMission: Impossible Ghost
Protocol. According to the official TGV Facebook page, the IMAX hall was built by combining
Hall 6 and Hall 7. Apart from that, TGV Cinemas launched their hall known as TGV Club in the
same location.

used today and is found in applications such as Web browsers, email and basically any situation
where data needs to be securely exchanged over a network, like file transfers, VPN connections,
instant messaging and voice over IP.
