Green Tea Conditioning Shampoo (Sulfate-Free**)

This clear conditioning shampoo is formulated at low pH with mild sulfate-free surfactants. The vegetable-derived Glucamate* VLT thickener efficiently thickens the
shampoo while maintaining the mildness and the clarity of the formula. Merquat* 100 polymer provides a soft, silky feel and imparts excellent wet and dry
combability. This mild shampoo contains botanical extract Actiphyte of Japanese Green Tea GL.

Procedure:
1.

Add Deionized Water and surfactants to a suitable vessel. Mix until uniform.

2.

Add Glucamate* VLT thickener to batch, then heat to 60C. Mix until
clear and homogenous.

3.

Remove heat and begin cooling with mixing. Add preservative and
conditioner.

4.

Adjust pH to 5 with Citric Acid (50%). Mix until uniform.

5.

When batch has cooled to 35C add ingredients 8 to 11 and mix until
uniform.

6.

Adjust batch for any water loss as needed.
