Human Resource Management System

Employees are the blood-line for the development of organization and they play a vital role
maintaining efficiency in the organization. The positive behavior shown by the employees
benefit the business including organizational productivity, job satisfaction, customer satisfaction
and increase in profit level of the business. There is deep relationship between individual
consciousness and human resource management. If the employees are much more selfconsciousness and do their work efficiently then it will make a huge difference in the
development of the organization. Employees themselves identify various types of negative
impacts in the organization and alleviate negative outcomes in order to increase the progress of
the organization.
There are various levels of consciousness related to human resource management system. The
low level of consciousness is related with control human resource management system, medium
level is related with commitment human resource management system and high is related with
common welfare human resource management system. The high level consciousness is simply
the combination of low level and medium level consciousness. Human consciousness is simply
long established concept that has been analyzed and developed across a range of disciplines such
as psychology and philosophy. The three levels of consciousness from lower to higher degree are
egocentrism, sociocentrism and world centrism. According to Dane, mindfulness is a state of
consciousness in which attention is focused on present-moment phenomena occurring both
externally and internally and maintaining a wide attentional breadth. The human resource
management system helps to develop the organization with the help of individual level of
consciousness.

1. Low level of consciousness


People who have low level of consciousness tend to be mindless i.e. there will be absence
of mindfulness. They behave compulsively and automatically without the awareness or
knowledge of others behaviors. If individual is mindless, the work done by will be
inefficient and confusing. The organization will lack the stability and efficiency in the
work due to these individuals. The information provided will be inaccurate and points to
misleading results. Most of the works carried out will be unstable and brings out negative
impacts in the business. The works carried by the individuals with low level of
consciousness is done on the assumption to carry out work perfectly, though most of the
times the result of the work is negative and hampering to the organization. But this
doesnt imply that they dont concentrate on their works. They focus on the ego and their
needs so they dont move forward from the same point.

2. Medium level of consciousness


Medium level of consciousness is almost related to mindfulness but the is it distinguished
from mindfulness because of it narrower scope and concept. They have introduced the
concept of flow which individual must have in order to have medium level of
consciousness. Flow simply means the experience of working at full capacity, holistic
feeling that people feel when they get totally involved in the work. There are three
preconditions for the people to experience the flow. First of all, they must be able to
perceive the balance of skill and challenge. Secondly, they must be able to give fast and
clear feedbacks. Finally, they must set their goals clearly without any obstacles. In order

to complete the work in limited period of time with greater accuracy and efficiency, the
individuals should have intense concentration and strong feeling of control.

3. High level of consciousness


Individuals with high level of consciousness focus on the present-moment phenomena
occurring both internally and externally along with maintaining a wide attentional
breadth. They have potential of completing the work with more quality then other
individuals. The people with high level of consciousness are more aware and perceive
conscious more frequently than other people and feels more connected with everyone.
When people are more aware of the consciousness then they see the internal and external
worlds more clearly. This is the reason why the people with high level of consciousness
are less egocentric and more altruistic.
The management style in control human resource management system is autocratic
whereas in the commitment human resource management system is
democratic(representative). In the common welfare human resource management system,
the management style is laissez faire. In low level of consciousness, the principle is
individualism whereas the rules are formal. In medium level of consciousness, the
principle is pluralism and the rules are social. In the high level of consciousness, the
principle is altruism and there are no rules to be followed. The first and foremost aim of
the human resource management system is to increase the individuals performance and
maintain it without any hindrances. The human resource management system promote
individualism because most of the works in the workplace of the orgazniation are carried
out individually without anyones help. And working I team or groups doesnt help to
promote too. Control human resource management system helps to select and recruit

employees on the basis of their specific ability and their working experience. Even if the
problems arise in the organization they handle the problem in specific way and finds the
solution to the problem by providing the inefficient employees with the training. This
way they can be of a good help to the people and can help in developing the business or
an organization too. Commitment human resource management also plays a vital role in
shaping the model and behavior of the employees. Its helps to link organizational goals
with the individual goals. The organization also helps to increase the performance of the
employees by rewarding the employees who are consistently doing good in their works.
By giving the wages to the employees on their work basis, the employees tend to work
hard enough to get good pay which directly helps in the development of the organization.
If the organization works this good in making the customer happy and satisfied then,
innovative idea also gets introduced by the employees who are creative. While recruiting
the staff common welfare human resource management gives opportunity to the
employees who are creative, autonomous and innovative.
