THE
Latin Catholic Church, whose spirit of exclusiveness is well known, proclaims the intolerant
axiom that whoso is beyond the pale of the Roman

Greek Orthodox Church, on her side, refuses to
allow the sacraments to be administered where
there is no strict conformity with her own prac
tices, so much so that she is obliged to resort to
