About gQMS
We provide an easy way to turn your business processes and procedures into graphical
Quality Management System (gQMS) web pages. When an employee can visualise the
workflow, it is easier to follow the steps, understand progress, and identify any weak spots in
the procedure for improvement.

Why Use gQMS?

gQMS is a solution for companies that want a visual QMS but dont have the resources to
invest in lengthy implementation or training. It is perfect for companies who dont have a
large IT department with time to spare for Intranet-type projects.
It provides a simple way for users with no web design skills to capture business processes
as graphical elements and present these as HTML pages within a web browser. The Quality
Manager becomes a QMS editor, in charge of the overall QMS review and approval process.
Anyone in the company can be a QMS contributor.
The only tools required for building a gQMS are familiar ones such as Microsoft Excel, Visio
or PowerPoint. No HTML, JavaScript, or CSS skills are required.

Simple Steps
To create a gQMS you start with a template
we provide. You edit just two lines, and one
of those is simply naming your QMS. The
top-level menu and navigation structure is
defined in an Excel spreadsheet. Each
process or procedure is a graphical file
created with Visio, Inkscape, PowerPoint,
or any other graphical editor able to saveas Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) file.
We use SVG because vector graphics are
small, bandwidth-efficient files that can be
3-step method for creating a gQMS
resized without quality loss on different
browser devices. SVG has interactivity built-in so we can add hyperlinks to the graphic,
which is essential for an interactive QMS. The user can call up blank forms, pop-up help
panels, step-by-step instructions, training videos, and more with the click of a button. SVG is
supported in all modern browsers and SVG files can be created using a wide variety of
desktop or online graphic editor tools.

The gQMS is a controlled document

Every file that makes up the gQMS is a version-controlled document that will satisfy the
requirements of standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO 13485. A gQMS aligns perfectly with
the principles behind the standards - customer focus, leadership, employee involvement,
process approach, system approach to management, and continual improvement.
You can start documents as drafts and have them reviewed by a core team. When they are
ready, the document is up-issued and approved, ready for use in the gQMS. You can evolve
the gQMS by changing just one part, and not the entire web site. You can freeze or obsolete
procedures. Adding new elements is an easy, incremental process.

Fully-integrated Information Security

You can use security features such as private workspaces, limited access groups, security
profiles and user document editing rights to decide who gets to see the final gQMS and who
has access to the parts that it contains. You can tie the gQMS into your Web Analytics and
Reporting capability to discover which procedures are being used most.

Deployment
Your gQMS can be installed on your on-premise servers or hosted on Private Cloud servers
managed by us. It's your choice. We offer hosting at nine data centres located around the
world in Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America.
