Discussion
All construction derbies may be placed in containers and removed from the site at contractors cost.
The contractor is to be responsible to furnish all required materials, labors, equipment, and tools to
perform all operations necessary to fabricate, erect and construct all primary and secondary structural
framing members, bolted connections, roof and wall coverings, louvers, doors, flashings, fasteners,
closures, sealers and other items as specified in contract drawings, manufacturers requirements, and
specifications.
Electrical & Plumbing works to be carried out by the a licensed contractor and AS-built drawings
completed accordingly.
Approval to build permit is to be obtained from Levuka Rural Local Authority prior to construction.
All materials which are in good condition could be used for roof trusses or ceiling noggings. bolts to
cleaned and rust to be used

Recommendation
The scope of works shall involve the following;
1. Clearing of all debris within the limits of construction, except as designated to remain. All
vegetation and objects to remain shall be protected.
2. Demolish and remove the entire wall (including beam) along grid 'C & G' between grid 2 & 3 as
marked on drawing sheet ??. Rebuild similar new construction as detailed on sheet XX.
3. Restore cracks on wall along grid 'C' between grids 3 & 5. Saw cut and fill non shrinking Sika
mono top-412NFG grout. Depth and width of cut to suite manufactures specification.
4. Supply and install steel post and verandah beam as detailed on sheet XX.
5. Fabricate and install new truss as marked no sheet ??. Repair and make good remaining trusses.
Allow for all truss tie-down, bolts, cleats and galv. diagonal strap as necessary.
6. Supply and install timber purlin at 800crs. Fix using typical galv. strap and clout nails.
7. Supply and install new trimdek colorbond zincalume cladding fixed using propriety roof screws
all over.
8. Supply and install 150 x 25mm dressed verge and fascia boards all around.
9. Supply and install hardboard ceiling with typical framing. Allow for usual skating etc.
10. Supply and install Marley uPVC gutter, down pipe and drains as marked on drawings.
11. Supply and install electrical lights, switch and power points as per sheet XX. Allow for necessary
permits and connection requirements etc.
12. Supply and install all interior doors and fix all exterior doors as detailed on sheet XX.
13. Supply and install shutters, mosquitoes screen, louver & blade frame for all windows.
14. Supply and install taps, WC and HB as per drainage plan. Allow for necessary permits and
connection requirements etc.
