ONE MORNING WORSHIP AT 11:00 AM

There will only be one worship service this Sunday
morning, June 26. Dr. Gardner will share a unique
message with the members of First Baptist Church who
are praying for our prospective Pastor. Please attend this
special time of information and prayer as we endeavor to
seek Gods leader as our pastor.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT SCHEDULE TWEAKED!

A suggestion was made to begin Prayer Meeting earlier,
since we have extra time after supper. Beginning
Wednesday, June 29, Prayer Meeting will begin at 6:45 and
conclude at 7:30. That night will be our Quarterly Church
Conference as well. Chancel Choir rehearsal will begin
earlier at 7:30, to fit into this adjusted schedule.

Quarterly Church Conference Wednesday, June 29

There will only be one service (the 11 am service) this Sunday, June
26. Parents are encouraged to pick their children up from Sunday
School (even those who will be attending children's worship) and
then, after the children's sermon during the 11 am service in the
sanctuary, children will be dismissed to the Fellowship Hall for
Children's Worship and may be picked up there after the service has
ended.

Committee Chair: come prepared with your report that

evening.

Early Session volunteers are asked to stay for Extended Session

due to the influx of children from the combined worship service.

GREAT WEEK OF VBS

This week has been an exciting time of singing,
games, Bible Stories, great meals and most of all,
FUN! The kids as well as each of the leaders seemed
to be excited, as they worked hard at VBS. Special
thanks to each of you who had even a small part to
play in making this week a rousing success. Thanks
to Stacey for you tireless work, helping kiddos learn
about Jesus and have a great time doing it.

Glorious Is Thy Name in the evening worship time.
Meet Art in the Choir Room at 6:15 for a short warmup and rehearsal, before the service.

A special word of thanks to each of you for your
faithfulness so far this summer. Keep up the good
work and remember our rehearsal next Wednesday
night as we prepare patriotic music to share July 3.

We are halfway through the VBS week as I write this article. I

am AMAZED at all the hard work, talent and dedication each of
our volunteers has given each night. THANK YOU to everyone
who gave their time to make VBS possible.
I am also blown away by the financial support and donations that
have allowed this week to be so much fun! THANK YOU to
everyone that gave generously to help make our week possible.

I'm A Christian Now!

Sunday Nights @ 6:30 pm

This is a Bible Study for any child age 1st-5th grade who has
professed Jesus as Savior. Baptism is not a pre-requisite. It is a great
jump start for any kiddo to learn the basics of Christian faith. The
lessons do build, but the core content can stand alone. Don't let
missing one or two deter from the entire study!

Meeting dates are: June 26; July 10, 17, 24, 31

Workbooks will need to be ordered for each child. Please be sure to
notify Stacey or the office by June 24 if your child will participate.

Family Fun Night Fishing & Picnic

Wednesday, June 29 6:30-8 pm 3047 Lake Douglas Road
Pack your picnic dinner and fishing gear and join us for some fishin'
fun! Don't forget the bug spray!

VBS
Vacation Bible School has been happening this
week and it sure has been an exciting week!!!
The kids are full of energy and they are ready
to hear Gods Word shared with them. Keep
praying for the seeds that are planted in the
hearts of the young people this week.
WIRED
I will be leaving this Sunday afternoon with a
group of our teenagers for a week-long
mission camp. During the next week our
students will be serving on various ministry
teams during the day and then worshipping
together with other students during the
evening. Please pray that God would do a
mighty work in the hearts and lives of the
students during our week at camp.
