PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

1. Organisaton : Presenly working as a QC inspecter in TUV SUD,SOUTH ASIA PVT LTD from dec
2014 to till date.

Nature of job:

Qualification of welders as per ASME SEC IX and AWS D 1.1.

Preparation of WPS, PQR and Method Statements using Standards like ASME SEC V, ASME SEC
VIII, B-31.3, B-31.1, API-650, API-620 AWS D 1.1. Preparation of quality assurance plan,
inspection test plan and various types of quality control procedures like: RT, DPT, MPT & UT post
weld heat treatment, sand blasting, painting, pickling - passivation, hardness test, hydro-test,
weld repair, etc
Interpretation & evaluation of radiography films according to the acceptance criteria.
Evaluation of discontinuities for different types of metals and weld joints by RT, DPT, MPT, PMI &
UT with respect to the acceptance standards.
Monitoring of various welding processes like GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SAW & SMAW.
Guidance to the radiography technicians for using correct techniques.
Preparation of various types of quality control report.
Inspection of received material with Material Test Certificate.
Inspection of marking with cutting layout drawings.
Set up and dimensional inspection of pressure vessel.
Fit up and weld visual inspection of piping, structures, pressure vessels, columns and tanks.
Preparation and review of test packages.

PDIL, Lloyds, BVS, ABS and Lahmeyer International, Foster Whealer,Exxon Mobil.
