The research objective is developing an intelligent tracking system for Solar Power Tower with the
implementation of computer vision and machine learning algorithm.
Main responsibilities include investigation of different object tracking algorithms for tracking the focal
spots by characterizing using suitable features in order to detect them through the implementation of
object classifiers like ANNs or SVMs. Further contribution includes taking part in the software
development for the control system of the test bench to achieve faster data communication rate
between actuator drives and control software.
