ATEs Female Future Tanzania takes-off
Dar es Salaam, Monday, 11th July 2016
The Association of Tanzania Employers (ATE) in collaboration
with the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO) has
officially started trainings for its newly launched Female
Future Programme that aims to attract more women into
Management Positions, Decision Making processes and on
Boards of Directors of Companies.
Speaking during the opening ceremony, ATE Executive
Director, Dr Aggrey Mlimuka said, We have 33 Female Future
Cohort ladies from 17 organizations of different sectors, this
will create a challenging learning environment and develop
exposed leaders for business development. The organizations
include:

Dr Mlimuka said We will offer Leadership, Rhetoric and Board
Competence courses in partnership with ESAMI, the
programme will last for one year with classes done in 14 days
spread in 9 months; the courses will be directly linked to
participants daily work routine at their workplaces. After
completion of the programme the participants will be
registered as accredited directors of boards and professional
leadership mentors. The main focus is to enable employers to
have effective business environment and risk management at
the helm.
Dr Mlimuka assured the Company CEOs of developing their
employees to become more potential leaders capable of
overcoming fear and managing fright when negotiating in
various issues.
The Association of Tanzania Employers recognizes all the
participating companies since they form part of results for
Female Future Tanzania in addressing a number of sustainable
development goals; quality education, gender equality, decent
work and economic growth in Tanzania.
This programme connects people, performance, personal
and organizational success as a means to increase productivity
at workplaces and organizations get opportunity to grow
talents they wish to motivate.
