Chutes and Ladder Instructions

1. Pick an eraser to be your player on the Chutes and Ladders board.

2. Pick a stack of colored rhythm cards that match your level

Pink Cards: Primer level Faber and Faber, Music Tree, My First Piano
Adventures, Faber and Faber Level 1 (Red): 1242.

Blue Cards: Faber and Faber Level 1 (Red) is you have played “Forest Drums”
1 2 4 2. ! @ $

Green Cards: Faber and Faber Level 2A (Blue), Faber and Faber Level 2B
(Orange): 1 2 4 2. ! @ $ h

Orange Cards: Faber and Faber Level 2B (Orange), Faber and Faber Level 3A
(Teal), Faber and Faber Level 3B (Purple) 1 2 4 2. ! @ $ h 4. *

Purple Cards: Faber and Faber Level 3B (Purple) if you have learned 16th notes
and other supplemental levels 1 2 4 2. ! @ $ h 4. * H ^

3. Pick a card from the pile and figure out how many beats are on the card. You may
have to add or subtract to get the answer.

4. Move your player that number of squares on the Chutes and Ladders Board. You
must go up a ladder and down a chute if you land on the picture that belongs to that
ladder or chute. The first person to 100 wins.
