This was an Oracle BI Mobile implementation and OBIEE development project. I have
worked in Oracle BI mobile app implementation end to end and used (18794832) patch in
unix environment in existing OBIEE 11.1.1.7.14 version. We migrated old OBIEE system
which was in OBIEE 11.1.1.6 to OBIEE 11.1.1.7. I am working as a senior BI resource in
this project and working directly with client for requirement gathering creating FS, TS and
UTP and delivering deliverables to client on time.

Roles & Responsibilities:

This was Oracle Fusion financial cloud implementation project and I worked in OTBI, BI and
Hyperion financial reporting studio reports and Security setup. Worked in documentation
like TS (Technical Documentation) and UTP with complete testing after report development.
Tested reports by moving from one instance to other. Deliver work on given time with
complete testing and documentation. Worked closely with oracle team to get workaround

America UBI Automation :
Description
The UBI forecasting was a very manual and highly redundant process with daily manual
updates to refresh and update the data as all previously entered updates used to get
lost with each new update.
Only the Americas Revenue Lead had system visibility to the data and had the authority
to update it.
Purpose

Old Process

UBI forecasting was a very manual and highly redundant process with daily manual
updates to refresh and update the data.
Manual copy raw data file from both source (Oracle Hyperion (System-9) and
eCockpit(Web tool)) and save those files to the shared drive.
All previously entered updates used to get lost with each new update.
No backup mechanism.
No conditional color formatting available.
Error while running the program or excel restart problem

New Process

Manual overrides are retained when new order data is imported from system 9 and
Cockpit or when the forecast macro is run.
Cockpit and system 9 reports are auto-downloaded to a shared drive and further a
visual basic script imports them into the spreadsheet.
Auto color conditional formatting and backup mechanism.
Exception handling with appropriate messages.
