Chassis Brakes International (previously Bosch Chassis System India ltd.) is a
multinational manufacturer of automotive foundation brakes and brake components. It is one
of the worlds three largest brake system manufacturers. The company5 primary products,
which include disk brakes, drum brakes, rotors (disk and drum) and automated parking brakes
sold directly for leading OEMs in automobile company.
Responsibilities:
Production shift in charge and managing around 35 manpower in a shift.
Allocation of manpower to assembly line, preparing daily production plan for shop floor
activities as per customer requirement and monitoring seven brake lines.
Take decision regarding rejection, rework and deviation and provide on job training to
operators for skill development on regular basis.
Managing Monthly TPM and 5S audit for shop floor sustenance.
Co-ordination with PPC, store and dispatch people to meet daily dispatch needs.
Handling of customer complaint with satisfied solution.
Ensuring availability of Instruments, Tools, Jigs and Fixtures required for all stages of
manufacturing process.
Analyze of the repetitive problems find root cause and provide solution over it.

Insure work discipline, 5S, scrap reduction, waste disposal management, machine
handling, gauge calibration.
Having knowledge of Pokayoka, Kaizen.
Update Documents like WIs, line check sheet, control chart as per changes in process.

PROJECT DONE AND ACHIEVEMENT:

Modified Back+Spline Screw pressing fixture by designing fixture for LH and RH hand
only by changing single pokayoka pin. Earlier LH and RH selection is done by changing
complete fixture assembly. This reduced setup time from 15 minutes to 12 sec.
Scrap reduction of IDAM shoes is done by giving positive stopper, bracket to rotation
movement of shaft of Hydraulic press in HBL pin+shoe assembly. This stopped
rejection of shoes minimum 25 shoes/month.
Coordinator of technical event Hydra-Launch. Successfully organized Hydra-Launch
event, a national level technical event in Techno-Arena 2014 in GCOJ Jalgaon.
