Answer the following reflective questions.
1. Make connections between your learning style (auditory, visual, kinesthetic) and
your chosen pathways. Which learning style is needed for each of the
occupations you chose? Is there one occupation that matches your style most?
If so, which one explain your answer.
I am a visual-kinesthetic learner. I dont see how me being an accountant is related
to my learning style because you always have to be sitting in an office. Maybe the
visual side of my learning can be connected if I have to look for patterns in our
businesses selling rates, but other than that it doesnt really connect. As for me
being a translator, I can kind of see it being connected but also like the accountant
job, not really. I just dont see how me being a kinesthetic learner, even if Im also
partly visual, is good for sitting around all day looking at a text document changing it
into another language. Maybe if I found another way to satisfy both my visual and
kinesthetic sides while doing this job and the accountant, they would be great
choices. Being a professional athlete is probably my best choice out of these
options. I can use my visual-kinesthetic learning style to achieve a lot in this
department. Ill always be moving and working out and I can look at techniques
visually to help me improve.

2. Make connections with your learning skills and habits. Which learning skills are
necessary for your chosen occupations? Which occupation is in line with your
learning skill strengths the most? Are there any learning skills youd need to
improve in? How would you do this?
I would have to say all three jobs I chose go together with my learning skills. There is
really only 1 learning skill that is making me lean towards a certain job rather than
the other two. That skill is my organisation. I cant be a great accountant or translator
with bad organisation, but if I was a professional athlete I dont think organisation
would matter.

3. What are some possible challenges that you might face in pursuing your chosen
occupations? How might you be able to overcome them?

I will face a lot of challenges in being a professional athlete. First I have to become
accustomed to all the new and healthier foods I will be eating, along with all the training
I will be doing day in and day out. I also have to deal with the fact that I wont always
win and may not make it far so I have to have a backup job plan.
