$*;"-(#,+(Once all components of the instrument have been assembled, it is necessary to perform
some adjustments for properly functioning.
In the CPU board (Figure 1) there are some potentiometers which will help to calibrate the
tension of control.
Below, the required adjustments for every instrument are described:
!

Mixer: After 60 seconds of mixing, the tension should be adjusted to 1285 Volts.
The motor 1 should be adjusted by the RP2 potentiometer placed on the CPU board and
the tension should be read in the indicated points in the Bichannel Board (Figure 3).
The motor 2 should be adjusted with the P2 potentiometer placed on the Bichannel Board
and measure the tension in the indicated points. (Figure 3).

Sensitivity: The lamps should be focalised separately. Lamp 1 is focalised to obtain a 7

Volts signal in the Base of the transistor TR5. (Figure 1).
For lamp 2, the procedure is the same, but in Base of T5 transistor of the Bichannel Board
(Figure 3).

Temperature: To adjust the temperature at 37C for the samples incubation, it is

necessary to dispense 1 ml of distilled water in cuvette. Place the cuvette in the reading
position, and after 5 minutes read the temperature with a digital thermometer. If the value
is not correct, it should be calibrated with the RP3 potentiometer.

Printer: The printing intensity should be adjusted by means of the RP1 potentiometer, to
read a 6 Volts tension at the C2 condensator bornes of the Printer Board (Figure 2).

Display: To adjust the visualisation intensity of the characters, it should be adjusted by

RP4 potentiometer.
