PLC ASSIGNMENT
1. Start & stop logic ( NO,NC& O/P)
Inputs Start & Stop Output Lamp
When Start switch is ON, The Lamp is ON.
When Start switch is OFF, but Lamp remains ON.
When Stop switch is ON, then Lamp is OFF.
2 Lamp Control (NO, NC & O/P)
Inputs Switch 1 , Switch 2 & Switch 3
Outputs Lamp 1, Lamp 2, Lamp 3, Lamp 4 & Lamp 5.
When Switch 1 is ON, Lamp 1, Lamp 2 & Lamp 3 are ON.
When Switch 2 is ON, Lamp 4 &Lamp 5 are ON.
When Switch 3 is ON, Lamp 1 & Lamp 5 are OFF.
3. Control of Motors (NO, NC & O/P)
Inputs - IP1, IP2 & IP3 Outputs Motor M1, M2 & M3.
When IP1 is ON, Motor M1 is ON.
When IP2 is ON, M2 is ON & M1 is OFF.
When IP3 is ON, M3 is ON & M1 & M2 is OFF.

4. Warning Light Control (NO, NC & O/P)

Four Inputs - SW1, SW2, SW3 & SW4. Two Outputs - Amber & fire
If anyone input is ON, Amber warning is ON.
If all four inputs are ON, Fire warning is ON.
5. Lamp Control - [NO, NC & O/P Latch AB (Set -Sie) &Unlatch (Reset- Sie)]
Inputs - Start & Stop
&
Outputs - Amber, Red & Green
When Start switch is ON Amber, Red and Green lamps are ON.
Start switch is OFF Green lamp is OFF. (Amber & Red lamp remains ON)
When Stop switch is ON, then Amber lamp is OFF (Red remains ON).

Star Delta Connection (NO, NC O/P & Timer)

Inputs - Start & Stop Outputs MAIN coil, LAMP, STAR coil & DELTA coil
When Start Switch is ON, MAIN coil & MOTOR ON & STAR coil is ON.
After 10 seconds DELTA coil is ON and STAR coil is OFF.
When Stop switch is ON, MAIN, STAR, DELTA coils & LAMP are OFF.

Valve Control - (NO, NC O/P& Timer)

Inputs - Start & Stop. Outputs - Inlet valve, Mixer & Outlet valve.
When a Start switch is ON, Inlet Valve is on for 5 seconds.
Then Mixer is ON for 10 seconds (Only one o/p ON at time).
Then Outlet Valve is ON for 5 seconds.
Repeat sequence & When Stop switch is ON, All OFF.
8. Door Bell - (NO, NC O/P& Timer)
Input - IP 1, IP 2 & IP 3. Output Bell.

When IP 1 is ON, Bell should be ON for 5 seconds

When IP 2 is ON, Bell should be ON after 2 seconds. & remains on.
When IP 3 is ON, Bell should be OFF.
9.

Building Automation
Inputs Start Switch & Stop Switch.
Outputs (Six lights) - L1, L2, L3, L4, Parking Light & Exit Light.
When Start Switch is ON, All six lights are ON.
When Stop Switch is ON, then 4 lights L1, L2, L3 & L4 are OFF.
The Parking light is OFF after (Stop Switch is ON) 12 seconds.
An Exit door light is OFF after (Parking light is off) 10 seconds.

Light Control (Timer &Counter)

Inputs Start & Stop.
Outputs Red Light & Green Light.
When Start button is ON, Red Light is ON for 5 seconds.
Then Green Light should be ON for 10 seconds.
Cycle should be repeated twice then all OFF.
When Stop switch is ON anytime, then all output should be OFF.
11. Crain Control - (Timer & Counter)
Input - Switch Output - Cranes C1, C2 & C3
When Switch is on Crain C1 is ON for 5 seconds,
Then Crain C2 is ON for 7 seconds,
Then Crain C3 is ON for 4 seconds,
When Switch is on Crain C1 is ON for 5 seconds,
Repeat this sequence 5 times then switch OFF all.
12.

Marker Production - (Compare & Math)

Input - Switch, Outputs Red Marker & black Marker
When Switch is ON every after 4 seconds Red Marker is manufactured.
And when same Switch every after 8 seconds Black Marker is manufactured.
When addition of markers is equal to 10 then Production Target Achieved light is
ON & production process should be stopped.
13.

Subroutine Lad 2 (AB) / OB1 (Siemens)

Inputs Start
Outputs Frooty & Packing
When start switch is ON, Frooty pack is ready after 5 seconds.
Lad 3 (AB) / FC1 (Siemens)
When 10 Frooty packs is produced then packing ON for 12 seconds.

14. ON & OFF with one Push button [OSR (AB) / P (Siemens)]
Input Start Switch Output Lamp
When push button is pressed &released then lamp ON.
When same push button is pressed &released then lamp OFF.
15. Level Management [SCP (AB) / FC 105 (Siemens)]
Input - Start Switch. Outputs - Pump, low Level Lamp & High Level Lamp.

When start switch is ON and Level is less than 20 then Pump & Low Level are ON.
When Level is greater than 30 then Low Level Lamp OFF.
When Level is greater than 70 then pump is OFF & High Level Lamp is ON.
