1 INCIDENT RESPONSE ANALYST


Peak 10s Description: The Incident Response Analyst Is primary responsibility
is to provide a superior customer experience through tactical troubleshooting,
monitoring, and resolution of Peak 10 customer environments. You will be heavily
relied upon by the entire Peak 10 team to support, maintain and provide insight to
our customers when they are in a high level of need. Its vitally important that you
are a strong communicator, resourceful, and articulate in communicating identified
issues and resolution steps to bring the customers request to a resolved state. A
strong combination of first level technical administration, troubleshooting,
communication and documentation skills is vital to the Incident Response Analyst
Is success
MOS:
25B, Information Technology Specialist. Information Technology
Specialists have the great responsibility of maintaining, processing and
troubleshooting military computer systems and operations.
25P, Microwave Systems Operator Maintainer. Microwave Systems
Installer-Maintainers are primarily responsible for installing, operating and
maintaining microwave communications systems. They also work with
associated antennas, multiplexing and communications security equipment.
25L, Cable Systems Installer Maintainer. Cable systems installermaintainers are primarily responsible for the maintenance of cable/wire
communications systems, communication security devices and other
associated equipment.
94F, Computer Detection Systems Repairer. The computer/detection
systems repairer performs maintenance and repair on a variety of critical
systems and equipment, including microcomputers and electromechanical
telecommunications equipment, field artillery digital devices, Global
Positioning System receivers, night vision devices/equipment and laser and
fiber optic systems.

35T, Military Intelligence Systems Maintainer/Integrator. The military


intelligence systems maintainer/integrator is primarily responsible for
maintaining intelligence computers and networks used by Military
Intelligence Soldiers.
25Q, Multichannel Transmission Systems Operator-Maintainer. A
multichannel transmission systems operator-maintainer works directly on
equipment that communicates through more than one channel. They are
responsible for the maintenance check of these devices, antennas and
associated equipment.
ASFC:

3D0X4, Computer Systems Programming. Computer Systems


Programming personnel supervise and perform as computer analyst, coder,
tester and manager in the design, development, maintenance, testing,
configuration management, and documentation of application software
systems, client-server, and web-enabled software and relational database
systems critical to warfighting capabilities.
3D0X1, Knowledge Operations Management. Knowledge Operations
Management personnel deploy, sustain, and manage data, information, and
knowledge-sharing services in a fixed and expeditionary (deployed)
environment. This includes planning, coordinating, sharing, and controlling
an organizations data and information assets.
3D0X3, Cyber Surety. Cyber Surety personnel supervise or operate fixed
and deployed information technology (IT) resources to monitor, evaluate and
maintain systems, policy, and procedures to protect clients, networks,
data/voice systems and databases from unauthorized activity. They identify
potential threats and manage resolution of security violations.
3D1X2, Cyber Transport. Cyber Transport personnel deploy, sustain,
troubleshoot, and repair standard voice, data, and video network
infrastructure systems, IP detection systems, and cryptographic equipment.
They perform, coordinate, integrate, and supervise network design,
configuration, operation, defense, restoration, and improvements. Cyber
Transport personnel also analyze capabilities and performance, identify
problems, and take corrective action. They fabricate, terminate, and
interconnect wiring and associated network infrastructure devices.
Navy

Navy Information System Technicians. Navy Information System


Technicians (IT specialists) are Enlisted Sailors who engage in a broad range
of responsibilities including network administration, database management
and computer hardware and software implementation.

2 SERVICE DELIVERY ENGINEER


Peak 10s Description: The SDE is responsible for working with existing and
potential Peak 10 customers to assist in developing solutions for their business
needs, performing Joint Technical Reviews/Quarterly Business Reviews, serve as a
technical resource, and serve as a trusted advisor to Peak 10 customers. The SDE
will also work with the Peak 10 sales team to review customer proposals and
ensure that Peak 10 can deliver the solution. The SDE will also work in a team
environment, with both regional and remote resources, to ensure timely and
accurate delivery of Peak 10 services. The SDE works at the direction of the DSD
supporting all pre and post sales technical activities for Peak 10 customers. The
SDE is an expert in operating systems, firewall and switch topologies, hosting
environments and requisite best practices. This position acts as an escalation point
for support requests that exceed the abilities of other members of the team and
provides guidance to Operations personnel in the planning and execution of
customer projects that are within Peak 10s scope of services.
MOS:

25N, Nodal Network Systems Operator-Maintainer. The nodal network


systems operator-maintainer is responsible for making sure that the lines of
communication are always up and running. They maintain strategic and
tactical nodal systems.
AFSC:
2E2X1 or 3D1X1. Sustains network infrastructure, cryptographic
equipment, and deployable switching systems in a fixed and deployed
environment. Sustains and operates systems through effective
troubleshooting, repair, diagnostics and system performance analysis.

3D0X1, Knowledge Operations Management. Knowledge Operations


Management personnel deploy, sustain, and manage data, information, and
knowledge-sharing services in a fixed and expeditionary (deployed)
environment. This includes planning, coordinating, sharing, and controlling
an organizations data and information assets.
Navy:

Information Professional (not an entry level job, oversee Navy IT


Specialists). Effective, secure communication in the cyber domain is
essential to the everyday operations of military intelligence in Americas
Navy. Information Professionals who oversee the seamless operation of the
global Naval network environment are key to these efforts.

3 TAA
Peak 10s Description: The Technical Assistance Representative is a Corporate
based position responsible for working individually or in a team environment to
provide high level support and customer service within the Peak 10 Technical
Assistance Center. The Peak 10 TAC is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to
include weekends and holidays. Candidates to be considered for this role must be
able to work within the framework of the overall Peak 10 Support Strategy. TARs
must be able to demonstrate the ability to represent Peak 10 values during
interactions with customers and internal resources, in a calm and professional
manner. Employees holding this position are responsible for the accurate and
expedient handling of customer support requests, proper escalation of contacts, and
efficient execution of internal audits.
MOS:

CODE
Used by Marines, Army, and Coast Guard
This can be a three to nine digit code which signifies personnel classification and
specialty. The first two digits range from 01-99 and define the occupational field
and rank. The higher the second number, the higher the rank. The last is typically a
letter, signifying the specialty.

Multimedia illustrators are primarily responsible for operating multimediaimaging equipment in order to produce visual displays and documents. They
produce graphic artwork that is used in Army publications, signs, charts,
posters, television and motion picture productions.
25P Microwave Systems Operator Maintainer
Configure, aligns, operates, and performs unit level and direct support
maintenance on microwave communications and technical control
equipment, and associated devices. Monitors, fault isolates, and restores
telecommunications circuits, trunk groups, systems, and associated
commercial and military interface equipment. Installs, operates, perform

Combat documentation/production specialists are primarily responsible for
supervising, planning and operating electronic and film-based still, video
and audio acquisition equipment in order to document combat and
noncombat operations.
25W Telecommunications Operations Chief
Plans, coordinates, and supervises installation, operation, maintenance, and
management of telecommunications systems and networks, including radio,
switching, cable, and automation equipment. Supervises the installation,
operation, strapping, re-strapping, preventive maintenance checks and
services and unit level maintenance on communication security devices.

Field 33 Electronic Warfare


35T Military Intelligence Systems Maintainer/Integrator
Maintain, test and repair communications equipment. Maintain and
integrate MI computers and networks. Assess and extract data from fixed,
portable and wireless storage/communication devices. Perform pre, during,
and post-mission operational checks on MI aerial platforms, sensors, and
systems. Maintains HF, VHF, UHF, and microwave frequency receivers,

94A Land Combat Electrician
The land combat electronic missile system repairer supervises or performs
field and sustainment level maintenance on a variety of systems, including
the M-220 antitank missile system, Javelin systems and the Bradley fighting
vehicle TOW subsystem.
94D Air Traffic Control Equipment Repairer
The air traffic control equipment repairer performs or supervises field and
sustainment level maintenance and installation of air traffic control
communications, navigation aids and landing systems.
94E Radio and Communications Security Repairer
Uses test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment to determine the cause
and location of malfunctions, extent of faults, and category of maintenance
required. Repairs systems, equipment and subassemblies by adjusting,
aligning, repairing, and replacing defective components, cryptographic
items, or line replaceable units. Performs bench equipment tests to verify
operability of repaired equipment, and ensures emission security standards

94F Special Electronic Devices Repairer
The computer/detection systems repairer performs maintenance and repair

Troubleshoots faulty communications equipment to diagnoses and isolate

98H Communications Locator/Interceptor
The communications locator/interceptor performs and supervises detection,
acquisition, identification, exploitation and location of foreign
communications employing international Morse code (IMC) and radioprinter (non-Morse) using signals intelligence/ electronic warfare
(SIGINT/EW) collection and location equipment. Performs collection
management.
98J Electronics Intelligence Interceptor/Analyst

The electronics intelligence (ELINT) interceptor/analyst performs and


supervises detection, acquisition, location, identification, exploitation, and
reporting of foreign ELINT at division, corps, and echelon above corps
(EAC). Performs collection management.

2E1X3 Ground Radio Communications
Installs, maintains, overhauls, repairs, and modifies fixed, mobile, and
transportable transmitters, receivers, transceivers, and related equipment.
Included are amplitude modulation, frequency modulation, single sideband,
and independent sideband radio systems and equipment for point-to-point
and ground-to-air communications; facsimile receivers; low frequency, high
frequency, very high frequency, and ultrahigh frequency radio systems; radio

frequency amplifiers; recorders; keying and signal devices; generation and


display equipment; and base radio systems.
2E1X4 Visual Imagery and Intrusion Detection Systems
Installs, performs operational checks, inspects, troubleshoots, repairs,
overhauls, calibrates, modifies, tests, and analyzes performance of television
equipment; cable head-end; audio, radiated, and auxiliary broadcast
equipment; fixed and mobile combat camera and other imagery related
equipment; and intrusion detection systems. Monitors and directs
performance checks of television and intrusion detection systems. Ensures
continuous acceptable systems performance. Manages television, imagery,
or intrusion detection system facilities.
2E2X1 Computer, Network, Switching, and Cryptographic Systems
Sustains network infrastructure, cryptographic equipment, and deployable

project installation and services contracts.

CTT Cryptologic Technician Technical
Cryptologic Technicians (Technical) perform a variety of specialized duties
associated with the collection and processing of airborne, shipborne, and
land-based radar signals. They operate electronic intelligence receiving and
direction finding systems, digital recording devices, analysis terminals, and
associated computer equipment. Systems they operate produce high-power
jamming signals used to deceive electronic sensors and defeat radar guided
weapons systems. Additionally, intelligence derived from collection and

processing update national databases which are crucial to tactical and


strategic units throughout the world.
EA Engineering Aid
Engineering Aids assist construction engineers in developing final
construction plans. They conduct land surveys; prepare maps, sketches,
drawings and blueprints; estimate costs; perform quality assurance tests on
common construction materials such as soils, concrete and asphalt; and
perform other engineering technician functions.
ET Electronics Technician
Electronic Technicians (ETs) are responsible for electronic equipment used
to send and receive messages, computer information systems, long range
radar, and calibration of test equipment. They maintain, repair, calibrate,
tune, and adjust electronic equipment used for communications, detection
and tracking, recognition and identification, navigation.
