MISS SOUTHWAY SQUARE 2016

Terms and Conditions

1.

The Southway Square is the Organizer of the Miss Southway Square 2016 Beauty Pageant. The Terms and Conditions
stated below shall apply to all stages of the pageant.

2.

The pageant means from the date of Selection up to and until (1) month after the grand coronation.

3.

By submitting the Entry Form and registering for the pageant, the candidate consents and agrees to be bound by the Terms
and Conditions of this pageant.

4.

The pageant is open to all single naturally born female who are at least fifteen (15) years of age and under twenty (20) years
of age, and are required to obtain their parents/guardians consent on the Entry Form.

5.

The candidate cannot withdraw and cannot participate in other contests of similar nature in the period after the Selection
Round and one (1) month after the grand coronation. In the event that the candidate is selected as Miss Southway Square,
she agrees not to participate in other pageants of similar nature during her reign.

6.

A cash bond amounting to P2, 000.00 will be required from each contestant to cover losses, expenses and other costs
whenever a contestant withdraws from any stage of the contest for any reason whatsoever. The cash bond (payable on the
scheduled photo shoot of the chosen candidates) will be refunded after the pageant.

7.

Candidates who fail to attend rehearsals, photo sessions, fittings and/or other events, activities and time schedules related to
the contest shall be disqualified if the reasons such absences are found to be unacceptable by the Organizer. Punctuality must
be observed at all times too.

8.

The candidate shall accept and abide by any and all decisions made by the Organizer and/or the panel of judges concerning
decisions related to the pageant, interview sessions with the contestants, the selection and awarding of prizes.

9.

The organizer reserves the right to substitute, add to or alter any item on the list of prizes offered before the grand coronation
of the pageant. Prizes are to be accepted as given and are strictly not exchangeable. The organizer will not be responsible for
any failure on the part on any of the sponsor to deliver any prizes sponsored to any prize winner.

10. All candidates are to present themselves with decorum, integrity and dignity as ambassadors of The Southway Square.
11. The candidates shall not make any personal appearance or in representation of, nor give any interviews or comments and/or
allow any publication, in any media relating to the Contest, the contestant herself or other contestants, or The Southway
Square without the prior written consent and approval of the Organizer.
12. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify any candidates from the pageant on the grounds of undesirable conduct and/or
appearance.
13. The organizer shall not be held liable for any mishaps, accidents or injuries that may arise during the pageant nor be
responsible for any loss of property or injury incurred to the person of the Contestant and the Contestant undertakes to
indemnify the Organizer as such from any claims whatsoever arising from the aforesaid.
14. Non-compliance with or breach of the above Terms & Conditions shall immediately disqualify the contestant from further
participation at any stage of the Contest and any cash and prizes won shall be forfeited.
15. The Organizer reserves the right to amend or vary any of the Terms & Conditions without prior notice to any contestant.
