support (AdhAra) of people (lOka) (lOkAdhAra) who supplicate (nata).

sung about (gIta) in praise (nuta) by Lord Siva (parama ISa) (paramESa);
the vessel (pOta) that ferries people across the Ocean (jaladhi) of Worldly
Existence (bhava);
nicely born (sanjAta) in the Solar (taraNi) dynasty (kula);
praised (nuta) by this tyAgarAja.
Notes
Variations
In some books, the rAga is mentioned as kuranji.
2 samaraika vIra samaraika dhIra. As dhIra is appearing again in the
second line of the caraNa, this has been taken as vIra.
garva mAnava garva mAnasa. In all the books, the meaning derived
is beyond the ken of men of arrogance. Therefore, mAnava has been adopted.
