Free Half Day Awareness Course in First Aid

Often small businesses feel exposed when their first aid risk assessment shows that a
first aider is not required. This 3-hr course is run on a first-come-first-served basis and
is designed to provide an awareness of what to do in a first aid emergency.
This short course gives your nominated first aid competent person confidence of what to
do in an emergency. By the end of the course delegates will be able to:

Understand the roles and responsibilities of being the nominated first aider.
Assess an incident to determine whether blue light assistance is required.
Understand the minimal equipment in a company first aid box.
Administer basic first aid using the contents of your first aid box.
Know how to correctly report and log an accident.
Make an injured person comfortable.
Administer an eye wash solution.
Assess if someone is in shock.
