About

Scottys LITTLE Soldiers

Hi, Im Nikki and I am the Founder of Scottys
Little Soldiers, the charity for bereaved British
Forces children.
I lost my Husband and father of two, Cpl Lee
Scott in Afghanistan in 2009. I witnessed first
hand the devastation losing a serving parent can
have on a child and was surprised how limited
the support available to these brave young
individuals is. Thats when I decided to set up
Scottys, to help the children of our fallen heroes.
If your children have suffered the loss of a parent
or you know someone in this situation, Id love to
be able to offer the charitys help and support.
Please take a look through this leaflet and if
you have any questions at all do not hestitate to
contact us.
Best wishes

Family Feedback:

Sometimes things get too much for my 13 yr old son and there's been
occasions recently where we have had to collect him from school as he
wasn't coping. We've been lucky enough to whisk him away from it all to a
Scottys Lodge or Center Parcs and to watch him visibly relax and smile is
indescribable. To be able to go away as a family with my other children and
new partner helps so so much as he knows we are all there to support him
and reinforce that he is not alone . Can't thank Scottys enough.

Becoming a Scotty Member

The Scotty Allowance - 150 annual grant for

music lessons, school trips, sports clubs etc.
Scottys Higher Education Grant - 1,000 for

Spending time in the scotty lodge enables us to

completely wind down from day to day life and enjoy
spending some time together having fun. SLS makes this
happen and we are so grateful. X
