Rafeeq Ullah *base shear reaction is the sum of all shear values in the base story.

You can get

from V22 or V11.
*ndividual stiffnes= Fshear/deflection

Rafeeq Ullah For respons spectrum scale factor. You ist give scale factor of 32.2 then After
run analysis, show table for base shear and there look for base shear (FX) value for EQx and
SPECx, now devide the EQx value by SPECx value and then with the result, multiply it by
32.2(in case of fps system).. then the result is your new scale factor. For example, suppose
The EQx value is 8 and the Specx value is 10, so your new scale factor will be (8/10)*32.2 =
25.76 . So, just in scale factor box, put it and then again run analysis, then show the table, you
will see the EQx and SPECx value same or most nearer. Do the same for EQy and SPECy.

Nishant Rathi Base shear due to response spectra should only be scaled up..that is in case
where base shear due to response spectra(SPECx) is less than base shear due to equivalent
static method(EQ).
