time the tardy bell rings. Do not ask me to borrow pencil or paper until you have
asked everyone in your group.
Clothing

Clothing worn by students must follow the schools dress code policy.

Activities

Homework is generally assigned on a daily basis and is due the next class period.
Quizzes will be given throughout each unit at the end of each section of the unit.
The day before a unit test there will be an in class review to answer any questions that
students may still have.
A cumulative unit test will be given at the end of each unit.

How to find out what the daily assignments are

All daily assignments, projects, and upcoming tests will be updated on the board on a
daily basis. You can also find any assignments posted online at the school website.

Finding out grade statusStudents will be responsible for keeping track of their grades; you can ask me before and after
class to look up your grade. I will not look up a grade if I am working with the class or a student.
Student responsibility after an absence

If you know that you are going to be absent talk to me beforehand in order for me to
provide you with the assignments that you will be missing.
Look online for what was done in class that day or for anything assigned in class that day.
Any problems assigned from the book (ACE Problems) can be found on my website. If
you are not able to look online, you should check the absent work folder for your class
period when you return to school.

Ask classmates for any notes that they may have taken.
Turn in your work to the late homework basket and write absent on the top.
If you are absent on the day of a test talk with me and we will find a time for you to make
it up.

You will have the number of days absent from class plus one day to hand in any work
missed.
o For example, if you were gone 2 days from class then you would have 3 days to
hand in the assignments missed when you come back to school.

understand the material and be prepared for assessments.
If you do not have your homework done you will be expected to stay after school, the day before
or after it is due. You will also have to report to the focus room the next Wednesday when focus
room is going on.
