our feet! Whether youre an archaeology
enthusiast or simply interested in history, this is an
exciting event suitable for those aged 8-16.
October 8th Its All Archaeology
(10am-2pm)
Explore the archaeological dustbin which provides a physical timeline of the ground
beneath our feet, be fascinated by an ice excavation, and enjoy a tour of the
Archaeological Stores and handle items from the past.

November 12th Lets Get Geophysical

(10am-2pm)
Understand contour map lines, find out more about Iron Age hill-forts, and roam the
grounds of Wrest Park scanning for medieval houses!

December 10th Feel It In Your Bones

(10am-2pm)
Study the anatomy of a skeleton before investigating burial positions. Put all youve
learnt to the test to see if you can guess the animal bone!
