The remote controller on the system
The remote controller transmits the signals to the system.

OPERATION DISPLAY

Displays the operating conditions.

Operation starts when this button is pressed,

and stops when the button is pressed again.

Used to set the temperature when the desired

temperature is obtained.

FAN OPERATION BUTTON

Used to circulate room air without cooling or

heating.

Used to turn on a humidifier when a humidifier

is installed.

TIMER SET BUTTON

Used to set the timer when the desired time is
obtained.

ROOM TEMPERATURE CHECKING

BUTTON
Used to check the present room temperature.

Used to select the operation mode.
Cooling Operation Mode.

Used to turn on an electric Heater when an
electric heater is installed.

FILTER SIGN DELETING BUTTON

Used to delete Filter cleaning sign.

When the air conditioner is turned off by a power failure, it is restarted

automatically in the previous operation mode after a power recovery.

Installation of remote controller

Install the remote control box and cord correctly.

POINT OF REMOTE CONTROLLER INSTALLATION

As the room temperature sensor is in the remote controller, the remote control box should be installed in such
places away from direct sunlight and high humidity and direct supply cold air to maintain proper space
temperature.

ROUTING OF THE REMOTE CONTROL CORD

Keep the remote control cord away from the
refrigerant piping and the drain piping.
To protect the remote control cord from electrical
noise, place the cord at least 5cm away from other
power cables. (Audio equipment, Television set, etc)
If the remote control cord is secured to a wall, provide
a trap at the top of the cord to prevent water droplets
from running.

Select places that is not splashed by water.

Select control position after receiving customer
approval.
The room temperature sensor of the thermostat for
temperature control is built in remote controller.
This remote controller equipped with liquid crystal
display. If this position is higher or lower, display is
difficult to see.
(The standard height is 1.2~1.5m high)

The maximum length of the cord is 70m.

If the length of the cord exceeds 50m, use a wire size greater than 0.5mm2.

PROCEDURE OF INSTALLATION
1. Fix the under plate on the wall by self tapping
screws (accessory).
2. Make a slit (Part A) at the top side of the remote
control body by nipper.
3.Rout the cord as shown in the following figure. In
this case, push the cord into the grooved around
the case(Part B).
4. Hook the remote control unit on the under plate.

WHEN THE REMOTE CONTROLLER IS

INSTALLED WITH THE CORD BURIED.
PROCEDURE OF INSTALLATION
1. Fix the under plate on the switch box by
screws(Local supply). In this case, fit the under
plate on the wall, and be careful of deformation.
2. Receive the remote control cord in the switch box.
3. Hook the remote control unit on the under plate.

Open the door of the remote controller. To select Cooling operation, press the
Operation Mode Selection button.
Each time the button is pressed, the operation mode is shifted in the direction of

To stop this operation, press the electric heater operation button once again or ON/OFF button, then all functions will stop.
If the MICOM takes the singnal of stopping this mode, approximately 60 seconds delay time is set to cool the electric heater.

In Cooling Mode and Fan Operation Mode, it is impossible to operate this Mode.

Humidifier Mode(Humidifier is an option)

Open the door of remote controller.
Press the humidifier ON/OFF
button.
It is possible to select humidifier
function in Cooling mode, Fan
Operation mode or Heating mode.
Humidifier will be operated with
previous operation mode.

Press the Set buttons to turn Timer ON or OFF.

Press the Time Setting buttons until the desired time

is set. (up to 24 hours)

To cancel the set timer.

If you want to cancel the timer Set
mode, press again the Set button.

NOTE: Select one of the following two types of operation.

Delay OFF Timer is selected when the unit is ON.
Delay ON Timer is selected when the unit is OFF.

If the settings are cancelled by a power failure.
Press the On/Off Button, and then set the timer again as desired time according to Timer Setting Procedure.

Self-Diagnosis Function
'CHECK' will flash on the remote controller display when a problem occurs. Then please contact your dealer.

Air-filter Checking Function

- 'FILTER' will display on the remote controller display when an air filter is polluted. Then, clean air filters with reference
to Owner's Manual.
- After cleaning air-filters, press filter sign deleting button.
