SMS Alert Service: The CDOL has an SMS Alert Service, wherein a student
gets connected with the Centre by receiving/sending messages. The SMS

Study Centre or the CDOL.
2.1.7

facilities.
Evaluation System
The system of evaluation at the CDOL is based on:
1.
2.
3.
Theory/Practical Assignments;
Dissertation/Workshop/Project Work/Practical/Viva (wherever applicable);
and
Term-End-Examinations.
All the above (as applicable) are compulsory components for a learner of each
programme for successful completion of a programme.
2.2.1
2.2.2
Dissertation/Workshop/Project/Practical/Viva: In
some
programmes
(wherever
applicable),
the students are required
to submit
dissertation/project/practical etc. as a compulsory part of their course work.
These activities practically expose the students to field experiences. Similarly,
viva-voce (wherever applicable) is meant to generate not only a sense of
confidence in the learner, but also to equip her/him with the capabilities of
