CHAPTER V
SUMMARY OF FINDINGS, CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION
This

chapter

presents

the

summary

of

the

findings,

conclusions and recommendations based on the data analyzed in

the previous chapter.
This study was taken with the main objective of develop
a solar vending universal charger that enhances the common
charging stations in the market.
Specifically this study aims to achieve the following:

Design and construct solar vending universal charger;

Perform try out and revision;
Determine the acceptability of the solar vending

universal charger using the following criteria:

Functionality
Aesthetic
Workability
Durability
Safety and Maintenance
Determine
the
significant
difference
on

the

evaluation made by the respondents students, expert

and community people with respect to the above cited
criteria

Summary of Findings

between

charger

and

the
the

53
The study yielded these findings:
1. The Solar Powered Vending Universal Charger could be
developed out of locally available materials.
2. As the researchers perform try out and revision the
project design work according to the desired output.
3. The

project

design

was

extremely

accepted

by

the

respondents as to functionality, aesthetic, workability,

durability, safety and maintenance.
4. In comparing the acceptability of the project design,
the following group of student, expert and community
people revealed that it is extremely accepted, based on
given criteria.
5. In general, no significant difference exist between the
evaluations made by the student, the expert and the
community people on the acceptability of the project
design.

Conclusion
The

researcher

was

constructed

the

design

using

the

materials that are available locally and perform try out and
revision to test the workability of the desired output of the

design.

Based

on

the

findings

as

to

the

level

of

acceptability of the Solar Powered Vending Universal Charger,

the hypothesis that there is no significant difference in the
level of acceptability of the three groups of respondents
with respect to its functionality, aesthetic, workability,
durability, safety and maintenance was extremely accepted is
affirmed.

Recommendations
Drawn

from

the

conclusion

of

the

study,

it

is

recommended that:
1. The developed Solar Powered Vending Universal Charger be
utilized further to a control group and experimental
group of respondents for in-depth evaluation.
2. The

developed

project

design

battery

be

upgraded

to

higher ampere/hour for better performance.

3. The

materials

be

upgraded

to

better

casing

made

by

plastic or stainless steel.

4. The project design be produced for commercialization
purposes.
