The two impacted facilities are located at 6122 Route 29 and Rench Road, Mossville, Illinois, 61522 (Building AC) and at 14009 Old Galena Road, Mossville, Minois 61552 (Tech Center). Accordingly, this letter shall serve as notice pursuant to the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act ("WARN") of that decision. ‘A total of 300 support and management employees will be Iaid off beginning October 31, 2016. All employees affected by this reorganization are being sent home immediately but will continue to receive full pay and benefits until the date of employment separation. During this time period, Caterpillar will attempt to place these employees into other available positions within the Company. In the event that this internal placement process is not successful for employees receiving WARN notice, those employees will be separated from employment between the dates of October 31, 2016 and November 13, 2016. ‘The employees are not represented by a labor union and there are no applicable bumping rights.
