TIB Corporate Bank Ltd and Tanzania Postal Bank Partner to Enhance
Customer Service
5th September, 2016, Dar es Salaam TIB Corporate Bank has Ltd expanded its reach to thirty
two more branches countrywide through a strategic partnership with Tanzania Postal Bank
(TPB).
Speaking at a press conference to announce the strategic partnership between the two banks,
the TIBs Managing Director, Mr. Frank Nyabundege, said that his bank has embarked on the
strategic partnership to enable its customers enhance their business activities through having
additional channels for their business operations. TIBs partnership with TPB is in line with
the banks vision of leading the way in product and service delivery. The strategic
collaboration is one of many that will enable the bank to implement its strategy aimed at
supporting the economic growth of the nation, said Mr. Nyabundege. He further explained
that the partnership will ensure that the transactions of their customers are more secure as
the automation will eliminate errors originating from manual transactions.
The two banks have agreed to create a common platform that connects TIB with thirty two
Tanzania Postal Bank branches covering various regions in Tanzania. Both organizations have
taken necessary measures to ensure high level of security on the platform, therefore, giving
comfort to clients on the safety and confidentiality of their transactions. Mr. Nyabundege
added that once funds are deposited at a Tanzania Postal Bank branch, the amount is
reflected in the receivers account instantly.
On his part, Mr. Sabasaba Moshingi, the TPBs Chief Executive Officer hailed its banks
partnership with TIB noting that his banks customers will also benefit from the initiative.
Some of our customers carry out business activities with TIB account holders. This initiative
will, therefore, further enhance business activities amongst the two banks account holders.

Mr. Moshingi also added that he was pleased with the partnership given his banks wide
network in Tanzania. Our bank has over 30 full-fledged and 30 mini branches in Tanzania.
Our partnership with TIB will cover all the regions where our branches are located, he said.
The banks officials called upon their customers and the public to leverage on the partnership
thus enhancing their business activities.
