This device is designed to be used with flightsimulator in combination with
additional software.
Before starting, we advice to read this manual carefully. Please follow
the instructions as described, before connecting your device to a
computer.

Before unpacking check if the following items are included in the box.
The box contains;

FLYENGRAVITY CDU MANUAL

A. CDU/FMS
B. 24 V adapter
C. Ethernet cable

If for some reason one of these parts are missing, please send an email to
info@flyengravity.com. Please mention the serial number, date of purchase and name of
reseller.

Warranty
The CDU comes with a full year of warranty on all technical parts.
The CDU should only be used with the supplied 24V adapter. The electronics are protected
by a casing and should not be removed. Warranty void if casing is removed.
Warranty will only be given when the unit is used for personal use in a hobby environment
under normal conditions.
In case of a technical defect, contact Flyengravity, by sending an email to
info@flyengravity.com, describing your defect.

Installation
for use with Prosim737

STEP 1
Check your computers IP address.

1. Go to Networkcenter and click on LAN-connection.

2. click on Details and check the IP-address

In our example the IPv4 address

is 192.168.1.90
in order to have your CDU
communicate with your PC,
you need to asign a IP number
to your CDU.
For this use the same Ipv4 address
and only change the last digits to a
higher number.
In this example IP number
192.168.1.95 will be used

STEP 2
Power up your CDU
1. Unpack your CDU and use the supplied 24-V adapter.
Insert the powerplug and wait for the CDU to start up.
NOTE: After you apply power to the CDU,the FAIL indicator led will shortly lit up.
After about 15 seconds the CDU the start up sequence is ready and the FAIL
indicator led will lit up again.
During start up the display will remain black.

2. Asign IP-address to the CDU

To enter the user menu, press EXEC once.
A IPv4 configuration screen will appear.
Type in the selected IP-address, including
the dots and close the window by pressing
EXEC again. This will save your settings.

3. Connect the ethernet cable from the CDU to your computer/hub

STEP 3
Connect to Prosim737,
note you need version 1.43 or higher

Start up your Prosim737 software including Prosim CDU.

In the CDU software, right click and select config.
Select the drivers tab.
type the selected IP-address under Engravity V2 CDUs and click OK at the bottom.
Restart your CDU and you are ready to fly.

Firmware update
The CDU is designed to allow future rmware updates.
In this case we can ensure that your CDU will keep up to date and allow the cdu to be
used for other types of aircraft in the future aswell as other software programms.
The procedure for updating the rmware is very simple.
In case a rmware update is necessary, an announcement will be made on
www.flyengravity.com

This product should only be used in a ight simulation environment and is intended to be used

activity, neither as parts or as part of a commercial ight simulator not produced by Engravity BV

A 1 year warranty is given on the products electronics. All products are being tested prior to
shipping.
The warranty provided by Engravity and her associated partners apply only for your use,
and not for resale, from Engravity or your reseller. The warranty does not cover the repair or
exchange of a product resulting from misuse, accident, modication, unsuitable physical or
operating environment, improper maintenance by the user, or failure caused by a product for
which Engravity is not responsible. Engravity and her associated partners will not be- respon
sible for misfunction of the product due to software changes and updates made by third par ties which causes conicts with the use of the product. The warranty is voided by removal or
alteration of the product or parts indentication labels.
In case the product needs to be repaired, an email should be send to sales@flyengravity.com.
The nature of the problem should be described aswell as the serial number, date of purchase
and name of reseller.
A RMI form will be provided to the customer and should be enclosed with the unit.
Shippingcosts for the product for warranty are never included in the warranty. Shipping costs
towards Engravity as well as shipping to the customer will be paid by the client. Engravity is
allowed to require a pre-payment of returning shipping costs in advance.
