INTRODUCTION:
1. BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY:
The main purpose of this
study is to evaluate results of the survey which was conducted on
the comparison between IPhone and Samsung in the eastern and
Asian countries of the world and another reason of this study is
that it was an academic requirement. It has been observed by the
author that in comparison to Eastern countries IPhone is more
preferred by the people where as in Asian countries Samsung is
more preferred. So Author researched on what are that problems
that are occurring in the success of Samsung in Eastern countries.
The basic reason of collecting statistical data from respondents of
Eastern and Asian countries is too aware about the

issues/problem of Samsung that they are facing in international
market that what is the main reason of these problems.
By doing research author has tried to identify the problems of
Samsung in the international market. Author collected research
from the Eastern and Asian peoples because as they are users of
IPhone and Samsung, so they can inform us about the problems
they are facing. Author also asked them about their suggestions
about IPhone and Samsung. Author mainly focuses on market
demand of IPhone and Samsung.
People have different opinion about IPhone and Samsung so
author has tried to clarify them. This study has a major impact
because if this study is taken into the account of suggestions than
the problems that Samsung are facing now in international market
can be minimized for upcoming Samsung Models.
So author was thinking that Samsung in international market
facing many problems, before giving his conclusion, author go
through survey to get exact data from Eastern and Asian peoples
to give his conclusion perfection.
The tool which is used in this survey was online questionnaire in
which different types of questions were asked to the respondents,
to get data on which the beneficial conclusion made.

2. OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY:




To test that the problem really exist or not
To provide remedies of problem
To know the causes why the Samsung are less competitive
To minimize the problem
To provide guidelines to Samsung that how to solve these
problems

 To high light the impact of these problems in Eastern
countries
 The aim of study is to know the problems faced by Samsung
in international market
 The main purpose of study is to get the factors which are big
hurdle in the way of users who used Samsung Galaxy
 To work on that factors and implement new policies to
overcome on the hurdles

3. RESEARCH METHODOLOGY:
Basically there are two types of research methodology
1. PRIMARY METHOD
2. SECONDARY METHOD
In primary method of data collection the data is collected for the
first time and by researcher himself.
In secondary method the data is already available because it was
collected by another researcher for another purpose.
In this survey the researcher has used the primary method of data
collection because the problem is not highlighted before.
Whatever the response of respondent are it is collected by
researcher by sending links and E-mails them about their survey
and try to get maximum accurate output from them.

3.1 SURVEY COVERAGE AND SAMPLING:
The target population was smartphone users aged 18 or above
who uses IPhone & Samsung. The required sample size was
allocated to different countries according to their economy. In
order to ensure the findings of the survey were representative,

random sampling method was applied on this on-board online
survey. Target respondents were picked by a random process.
Successful interviews were limited to not more than ten per
sample trip and each interview would be conducted in 10 min
interval. If the selected respondent refused to fill up the
questionnaire, surveyor would interview the next respondent.

3.2 RESPONSE RATE:
In total, 505 individuals were successfully enumerated
during the online survey from 18 to 60 on 12 April 2016,
constituting an overall response rate of 77%.
The
enumeration results are presented below:

4. LIMITATION OF STUDY:
5. ORIGINALITY OF THE STUDY:
The research which we carried out was purely primary we
didn’t look any sort of help from secondary data, the question was
made and filled in purely by the team and the respondents of the

Asian & Western countries. All the data collected is based on facts
and figure, we have enclosed the responses as well in the report.
