I totally agree with all the opinions given. As a teacher, we need to


equip ourselves with various types of knowledge and skills so that we
will be able to have good classroom management. As we can have
good classroom management, of course the objectives of the lesson
can be achieved. In order to make lesson meaningful and effective to
students and class, many aspects need to be considering so that
teachers know what they have to do to attract the students in their
class.
For my opinion, ASSURE model is the best model that can be followed
by teachers. In ASSURE model, there are 6 important key points that
can help teachers in planning the best management in the classroom.
For the first point is A(Audience). It is describe the characteristics of the
class as a whole and include information regarding the number of
students, grade or age level, gender, socioeconomic factors,
exceptionalities, and cultural/ethnic/or other types of diversity. Teachers
also need to know the knowledge base required to enter the lesson.
The audience can be analyzed in terms of their general characteristics
which include grade, level and age and specific entry competencies
like prior knowledge, attitudes about the topic and learning styles.
Teachers need to analyze learners in order to select the best strategies
to meet the objectives you have set. Teacher also need to determine
the motivational and physiological factors of the learners. Consider
things such as anxiety, degree of structure, achievement motivation,
social motivation, cautiousness, and competitiveness.
Besides that, we need to specifically state the objectives for the lesson
or presentation that is in the S part. In writing objectives, we need to
focus on the learner, not the teacher, use behaviours that reflect real

world concerns and also objectives are descriptions of the learning


outcomes and are written using the ABCD format. The ABCD format is
A(Audience)- asks ourselves who is our audience and specifies the
learners for whom the objective is intended. For B(Behaviour) is about
what do we want them to do. The behaviour or capability needs to be
demonstrated as learner performance, an observable, measurable
behaviour or a real world skill. (C) Conditions is about under what
conditions are the learners to demonstrate the skills being taught and
(D) degree is how well we want them to demonstrate their mastery.
Next is S that is select media and materials. We have to select the
beginning point which include the audiences present knowledge, skills
and attitudes and also the ending point (objectives) of our instruction.
We can select available materials, modify existing materials or design
new materials to help accomplish the task given. Besides that, we can
select several different types of media to use. Any of the
media/technology discussed in the text will be appropriate.
For the U part that is utilize media and materials, we must decide how
the materials will be used by the students. Teacher must review the
materials and practice the lesson. Next, prepare the room and be sure
the necessary equipment and facilities are available and ready for our
use before actually use the lesson.
R part is stands for require learner performance. Learners need to
practice what they have learned. We need to describe how the learners
will actively use the materials you have selected. Correct responses
should be reinforced. There should be activities included in the lesson
or that allow learners to respond and receive feedback before any type
of evaluation is administered.
Next is E part that is evaluate and revise. It is about how you will
measure whether the objective lesson were met or not. At this stage,

teachers can evaluate whether the media and the instruction used is
effective or not, and also can evaluate student's performances whether
or not they met the lesson's objective.The evaluation should match the
objective. If the objectives call for demonstrating a process, creating a
product, or developing an attitude, the evaluation will frequently require
observing the behavior in action.
Besides ASSURE model, the teacher need to be ready before enter
the class. they should understand enough about the topic they are
going to teach so that they are able to deliver the content with various
and interesting ways. At the same time, voice is another important
element as a teacher. Loud and clear voice is a must so students will
be able to hear and understand the instruction. If the teachers voice is
too soft, then how the students can hear the instruction and will lead
them to misbehave in class. Teachers need to know how to use the
intonation so students can differentiate between the important points
and understand what the teacher said. Students will get bored when
teacher only use one intonation in class. The changes of facial
expression and gesture will help teachers to attract students attention
as they enjoy the lesson and remember better what they had learnt on
that day.

Here are my advices to my friend in order to implement E learning at the school. I will
ask her to accept the challenges given the headmaster as people nowadays are
First the teacher needs to ask themselves whether they really understand about
E learning. E learning is about electronic learning, and typically this means using a
computer to deliver part, or all of a course whether it's in a school, part of your
mandatory business training or a full distance learning course. So the teacher needs to
really know about the concept of e learning and what it is all about. E learning is not
about web pages but it includes learning environment. It is mostly associated with
activities involving computers and interactive networks simultaneously.
Besides that, the teacher needs to know the pro and cons of implementing elearning at the school. E-learning' can make self learning become more effective. The

students are free to choose their own time, content and the objectives of their learning.
They also can learn the difficult topic by their own in many times until they understand
about it. At the same time, they will feel safe without feeling shy to ask anyone.
Sometimes they are students who have low self confident in the class and do not want
to ask in the class. So e-learning helps them to do online discussion and they can free
to discuss with each other. E learning helps in reducing expensive travel costs which
everything can be accessed in the computer and also immediate availability. At the
same time, learners have self-paced learning and increased confidence. In terms of
empowerment, it helps by putting the responsibility for learning in the hands of learners.
For convenience, it will let time-pressured students learn at the best time and place.
But the weaknesses are come from the organizational which in order to
implement e-learning there are many procedure which include more people. Besides
that, technological part may give problems in implementing the e-learning. The
problems may include interactivity, technology support and also development costs.
Other advices that I will give are in order to implement e-learning at the school
teacher must look on the facilities and the accessibility at the school. The teacher
need to make sure there are sufficient computers at the good condition and the internet
connection is good. But the computer does not need to be the central element of the
activity or provide learning content. However, the computer and the network must hold a
significant involvement in the learning activity. At the same time, the teacher also needs
to learn about the new technology and keep up to date so students will feel
comfortable to ask about the lesson and have interaction with the teacher.
The most important thing that teacher need to look on is ASSURE model. All the
important elements in the ASSURE model can be the guidelines for teachers in
selecting the materials and teaching aid for the lesson.
As time has progressed and technology has developed E-learning is the best
medium of learning. By using a wealth of interactive designs it will makes distance
learning not only engaging for the users, but valuable as a lesson delivery medium.
