Technology in modern years

Description of the theme:

The digital era is having a lot of peak lately, and many authors take advantage to
write about this subject. One of them just gives their opinion and others prefer to
make interesting analysis. What it matters here, is that there is some different
opinions between the authors about what is happening with the technology in
our present days.

Research and argumentation:

By one side, its the author Marianne Kolbasuk, which in her article 5 reasons
were not in a tech boom published in the data base Lexis Nexis of the Digital
Library, it compares the boom of the actual technology, which emerge in 2000.
On the other hand it finds Negroponte, which argues that the technology
nowadays is raising and its even more important, because that its developing
rapidly.
And if we can watch in the other side, Jos Emilio Daccach said that the
Internet is going further of its initial purpose and now are offering a thousand

possibilities within reach our computers, in an easy way it has converted in our
daily life.

Judgments of the theme:

The posture that the first author reflects in her article its based in the
worthlessness that gives to the actual technology, because she justify saying,
with real numbers, that is not a really important stage as it was the emergence of
so many technology in 2000. She comment that the Internet had advanced a lot
since 2000, there are 5 reason for that now is not that shocking the boom, that
goes bye the lowest inversion that it gives to the technology, the short term of
the technological products, the little technology activity compared to 2000 and
the market sensitivity, between others. I think what she said is very interesting,
because she is right in some many aspects, and differs to the Negroponte
posture because, according to my perception, this author gives a great value
and utility to the actual technology and about everything, for the upcoming.
However, I think that the most right opinion, or at least with the most Im
identified is with Daccachs, because the technology is even more part of our
lives, so that now it gives employees and services. This, in personal case, my
job is based in the educational technology, and without technology, we couldnt
offer our online courses.
In my personal opinion, I consider that the technology is moving rapidly because
of so many technological knowledge that exist now, and I think that all of us are
moving a lot in this area and in so short time, we can simply prove this seeing
kids even more little using a computer.

Conclusion:

I honestly think that we live in an amazing, shocking period in which every

moment something that makes easier our lives comes out the market. But for
the world, the best of all, is that this technology not just makes easier their lives
and makes them much fun, but also to cure diseases and save lives. This is

what is most value to me and what provokes in me more shock and hope in the
technology, because we all have bigger opportunities of living.
