Observations
Tower

M16 bolts used instead of the required M20 bolts on the diagonal
members. This greatly effects the structural capacity of the tower

The tower columns height level is below the required concrete level

Tower columns have honey combs (dents in the concrete)


Aviation lights not firmly supported on the tower. Saddle clamp or U-bolt of
adequate diameter need to be used
Ladder guards (Stringers) do not extend to the highest point of the tower
Tower columns chamfering not satisfactory

Other Civil works

No signage installed
Visible Crack in the boundary wall
Wrong power cable terminations in the DCDB
Missing bottom cover plate in the ACDB and ATS, no lugs, no cable glands
used
Guard house - poor workmanship on the fascia boards, untreated rafters
and purlins
There is a structure / wall near the boundary wall that possess security risk
to the site
The steel plate on the bundwall needs to flush with the wall

MPF - Tested and working, Rectifier Major tested and working, Door
tested and working, LVB tested and working. (All alarms tested
with NOC personnel - Musa Busingye at 14 20 Hrs.)
