Course Description
Organizational Impact
The productivity of a process plant depends as much
on the piping system as it does on all other plant
equipments. As a result it is essential that the piping
must be efficiently designed, well maintained and,
when required, repaired in an effective and timely
manner.
This course will present information on the design of
an efficient process piping system and code
requirements. Sessions on piping system related
subjects, such as valves and actuators, pumps,
insulation, inspection and maintenance, piping failure
etc. are also be presented.
Training Methodology
This interactive training course includes the following
training methodologies as a percentage of total tuition
hours:
50% Lectures
Programme Objectives
Who Should Attend
__________________________________________
Upon the successful completion of the course, Process engineers, project managers, design
engineers, equipment and operating engineers,
participants will be able to:
Understand metallic pipe and fitting selection aspects and considerations of piping for those
including its system failure, bases for selection who are involved in the design, analysis,
and method requirements.
Determine the components of pressure design quality assurance, and manufacturing personnel
and be able to know the concepts of weld joint who work in the chemical, petroleum, utility,
strength factor and design pressure &
plastic processing, pulp and paper, and
temperature
manufacturing, fields will find it a time-saving
