holding be necessary, the Normal Checklist procedures
shall be used.

Prior to using this procedure, ensure that the area


to the rear is clear.

(Ensures bleed air supply for engine start.)
Engine thrust lever (operating engine)
ADVANCE to 30 PSI
Non operating engine...START

Preflight:
Primary altimetersCHECK
Indicated altitude shall be within 75 ft of aerodrome
elevation. Difference between Capt and F/O
altimeters 50 feet (or 60 feet at AD above 5000)
Prior to entering RVSM airspace:
Recheck altimeter setting and cross-check primary
altimeters. Record on Operational Flight Plan when
Aircraft is stable at cleared RVSM level.
Inflight:
At approximately one hour intervals, cross-check
primary altimeters. Maximum difference 200 ft.

Use normal start procedure with crossbleed air.

Note: FL 280 is the highest usable non-RVSM level.
