International Fellowship Programme at Kings College Hospital

The Kings International Fellowship Programme offers medical graduates (from

outside the UK/EU/EEA/Switzerland), the chance to obtain first class training at
Kings - one of the worlds leading hospitals.
The 12 24 month programme offers training and development under the
supervision of a leading consultant and an educational supervisor in the following
specialties: Trauma
Liver
Metabolic and diabetes surgery
As well as gaining clinical skills, the fellowship scheme will provide the
opportunity to develop a range of transferable skills such as: Leadership
Management
Developing guidelines
Conducting audit and research
Understanding clinical governance.
Kings International Fellowship Programme operates in partnership with the Royal
College of
Kings International Fellowship Programme operates in partnership with the Royal
College of Surgeons (RCS) International Surgical Training Programme (ISTP).
International fellows will be sponsored by the RCS for registration with the
General Medical Council (GMC) and the supporting Tier 5 (Government
Authorised Exchange) visa.
Individuals must be fully funded by their home institution or government to cover
tuition and living expenses.
The successful applicant will receive an individual and tailored programme that
will reflect their training requirements and will include one-on-one tuition by
world renowned leading experts.
This tailored approach attracts an annual fee of 40,000 GBP (in addition to
tuition cost). In exceptional circumstances this fee may be negotiable.
Upon completion of the training programme all applicants will be awarded a
Certificate of Completion the President of the Royal College of Surgeons.
