CHAPTER I

1.1 Background
KPMG 4SEAS SCHOLARSHIP is one of KPMGs Programs together with 4 KPMGs

from ASEAN to help accounting students to reach their dreams by providing full
scholarships. KPMG give more concerned their scholarship program for first and second year
accounting students, and also give a great opportunity to work together with KPMG
Indonesia and also one of KPMGs office in ASEAN. KPMG decide to choose several
universities for having an open scholarship discussion, and one of them is President
University.
Open Discussion is held in KPMG Office by collaboration between KPMG Human
Resources Department and President University. In this event, we want to achieve benefit for
both sides. We as PUMA Accounting 2016 want to help KPMG by providing a media for
spreading the info about KPMG Scholarship Program. While for President University, we as
PUMA Accounting 2016 want to provide a place where accounting students can seek the
chance for getting scholarship and to know more about KPMG Scholarship Program. This
event provided us more detail regarding the scholarship program, and also Question &
Answer session for helping the accounting students to know more what they should prepared
for joining the scholarship program. Lastly, this report is made to fulfill the responsibility of
PUMA Accounting to the Management.
1.2 Objectives
1. To help accounting students to know more about how to join KMPG 4SEAS
Scholarship Program
2. To help KPMG to spread their info regarding scholarship program
CHAPTER II

2.1 Events
KPMG 4SEAS SCHOLARSHIP OPEN DISCUSSION WITH KPMG was held in
April 18, 2016 from 1.00 p.m until 4.15 p.m. This event took place in KPMG Indonesia. The
agenda for the activities included lunch, introduction about KPMG, Discussion about KMPG
4SEAS SCHOLARSHIP, Question & Answer Session, and ended with Photo Session.

Closing
This event held by collaboration between KPMG Human Resources Department and
President University, especially with help of PUMA Accounting 2016. We hope both
President University Accounting Student and KPMG can achieve their own goals and hope
that this event can tighten the relationship between KPMG and President University for
having future careers opportunities and internships.
We ensure that all of the information above is valid and complete.

ENCLOSURE I
RUNDOWN REPORT
KPMG 4SEAS SCHOLARSHIP OPEN DISCUSSION WITH KPMG was

successfully conducted. We together went to the KPMG at 9.30 a.m. There were 54 students
being appointed to attend the event. We arrived to the Wisma GKBI at 12.30 p.m, and we
directly went to the KPMGs meeting room.
We had a lunch session, which the food provided by PUMA Accounting. The Human
Resources Departments representative, Amanda Tulus, started the event by introducing what
the KPMG is. She talked about what KPMG, Vision & Mission, and events conducted by
KPMG, and sharing session about the work environment in KPMG. This session started from
1.00 p.m until 2.00 p.m.
Then at 2.00 p.m, the head of PPC (People, Performance, & Culture), Mr Susanto
came to the meeting room to share about KPMG 4SEAS Scholarship. We talked about what
KPMG 4SEAS Scholarship is, the objective of the program, and how to apply. This session
ended at 3.30 p,m.
After heard so much about the scholarship, the students were given 30 minutes for
Question & Answer Session. There were a lot of student asked about how to apply the

scholarship and some details that needed to be fulfilled. All questions being answered by Ms.
Amanda and Mr. Susanto.
At 4.00 p.m, the discussion about KPMG 4SEAS Scholarship was over. We had 30
minutes for photo session before we came back directly to President University. All of the
students seemed satisfied with the event and ready to apply KPMG 4SEAS Scholarship.
ENCLOSURE III
EVALUATION
We as the committee of the KPMG 4SEAS Scholarship Open Discussion with KPMG
found out that the main problem that needed to be discussed is lack of coordination and time
management. These evaluations need to be noted to be able to get better performance in
running this event We realized that we should be more cooperative to track the participant
and the company that held the open discussion in order to make sure everything could
happened in the right way. .Hence, we as PUMA Accounting 2015 highly appreciate and be
thankful for Management of Accounting Study Program who have supported us since the
beginning of the designing this event up to the implementation of the event.
