6 Outbound Process
2 - 6 - Simple Outbound process with SAP WM
Sales Order or STO for which Outbound delivery is to be made Then Transfer Order will be created with
reference to the delivery Then the TO will be picked After picking the TO, TO needs to be confirmed
Once TO is confirmed, the delivery is fully picked and then it is PGIed. This completes the process of an
outbound delivery in the WH managed storage location.
Let us see this in the system.
At this stage system will show you all the deliveries that are available for picking. (pending to be picked).
For individual testing of creation of Transfer Order, we could use the TCode LT03

Also the item Category must also be relevant for picking, so that this delivery could be further processed
into a Transfer Order and Transfer Order could be picked.
From this screen we can proceed as follows:

This creation of Transfer Order and confirmation of Transfer Order is an additional step that we need to do
When we are in a WH managed storage location.

Here we can see that some stock has come which is ready for Put Away in 916.
Once we confirm this the Putaway Stock in 916 will become the available stock.

Click on Save.

32
Click on Refresh.
At 916, 25 will move from putaway to Available Stock as shown below.

Now we can see Delivery overall pick status is C and overall WM status is also C. It means the delivery is
fully picked.
Go to Goods Movement Data tab.
36
Click Refresh.
38
Note that 25 that was lying in 916, is completely gone out of the WH.
So this is how we have to do the additional steps, in order to take the Goods completely out of the WH.

We have seen the typical Outbound process in a WH managed plant and we have seen how the process
changes when we have a WH in the picture.
